"My wife and I and our dog spent a very relaxing and private stay at the guest house. As my wife said "Rilla has thought of everything". That about says it all for us. A home away from home with a very impressive view of the vineyard and valley. Great location, very clean and secure, and within easy driving distance to numerous wineries and restaurants. Upon arrival, Rob greeted and gave us a great introduction to the guest house and its amenities. If you are interested in visiting the area then I highly recommend that you consider staying at Sonora Pines. You will not regret it. We hope to return again. Thanks to Rilla and Rob for a great visit."

"We had a lovely time staying at Russell and Christine's suite! My husband and I went down for the 'Wine capital of Canada' triathlon and we couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. The suite was was scrupulously clean and had everything we needed. The walkout basement had a lovely patio where we enjoyed our morning coffee and afternoon beverages. Russell and Christine were lovely hosts and gave us tips and tricks for the areas numerous wineries and restaurant recommendations. We didn't have a lot of time, but that time was spent well and we will definitely be back! Thanks so much for making us feel welcome and making it one of our best holidays."

"My husband and I rented John's house for a few nights, travelling with my mother and my sister. The house was beautiful - spacious, comfortable, with a well-laid out kitchen, nice beds, cool with the air conditioning, and stocked with board games. The saltwater pool is such a treat after a hot day touring the area. A babbling brook runs next to the house. A fifteen minute drive above Oliver's main street, it's located next to the old Fairview townsite, well worth wandering over to read the information boards and get a sense of the area's history. The quiet roads around the house are great for strolls and offer incredible views of the valley. John is cheerful and attentive without being intrusive.
It was a comfortable home for four adults, but would also be perfect for a family with kids.
We loved the place so much, we are already planning how soon we can return. It would be wonderfully cozy in the winter, too!"

"The perfect get away. The High Chapparal covers everything most of us are looking for...a beautiful view of grasslands, forest and mountains. No light or noise pollution - just a peaceful, relaxing setting. The guest house is well-appointed (we enjoy barbequing on the deck), reading in our private sitting room (we even turned on the fireplace for ambiance).
The special welcome from our hosts was again much appreciated.
Highly recommended for a couple's getaway or to spend time with special friends who also have their own private suite to retire to. It is less than 10 minutes to great wineries and we've enjoyed lunch at both Tinhorn Creek and Hester Creek."
