  • Quiet but Convenient!

"My husband and I and our baby boy had an excellent stay! The location was perfect for us - quiet with a great view of the lake, but very close to town and all the wineries. We really felt at home and relaxed, and would certainly stay again."

  • Thankful for this vacation home!!!

"My family had arrived in penticton and we were planning on staying at the lakeside hotel but they mentioned we had 1 extra person and we weren't allowed the room we requested so we would have had to pay extra for another room, which we didn't want to do since my sister was 13 and we were on a tight budget. We quickly googled where to stay in penticton and we found this site easily and noticed their was a opening until Sunday which was great because that's how long we wanted to stay for, we called the owner who was very kind and understanding for the late booking, he told us everything we would need to know and was a great help. when we got in the house it was nice and cool, it had three bedrooms 1 had a single bed which was perfect because my sister was gonna be sleeping on a couch in the hotel and now she had her own bedroom! we decided to hit the iga market that was just down the street and we grabbed all our groceries, it was nice having a full kitchen to cook our meals in plus the coal BBQ which I loved because I am very scared around propane tanks so that perfected it even more for me, this house was spotless clean and the beds were very comfy. Also for anyone whose staying here check out the creek in the back of the property, we made sandwiches took it on the bridge that goes over the creek and had a nice lunch it was really a good relaxing experience and there's a pathway you can dip your feet in (it's cold but nice ) . Over all I want to say thank you to the owner for his help and keeping the vacation home very clean so last min bookers like us are satisfied. It was a lot more then I would have asked for and a lot cheaper then the hotels that didn't even have a kitchen or more then 1 bathroom, this is definitely gonna be my go to place when we need another vacation it's was definitely a home away from home for my family and I and overall we had a great trip!! I will probably be trying to book again for this summer!"

  • Stayed with my family

"It was a very good experience and we would definitely stay there again. However, just a couple small improvements that we thought would make the stay that much better. 1. Fix the window in the bedroom. It got stuffy in there. 2. We would have loved to watch more football so maybe some upgraded cable. 3. The bed/couches in the family room were of poor quality and uncomfortable (in our opinion) perhaps an upgrade their is a thought. 4. A fenced yard would have been very nice as we had small children and we were constantly needing to run after them to stay in the back yard and not play near the road where we could not see them. It would have been nice to to just relax and know that they would stay in the safety of the back yard. All in all it was great and we plan on coming back next year. Thank you so much."
