  • Quintessential "Cabin in the Woods"

"What can I say!? My family had an absolutely incredible time at Blueberry Springs! The breathtaking beauty, mixed with the real wilderness experience make it a perfect family getaway. We saw an incredible amount of wildlife, big and small. Picked endless amounts of wild strawberries, blueberries and huckleberries. Played in our own private Shuswap cove. Hiked the Albas falls trail a couple of times. Endless amounts of smores eating and hammock swinging truly made it an unforgettable family holiday. My life feels fuller after having experienced a week in this beautiful tucked away paradise. We definitely would love to come back! Steve and Lesley make the most gracious host and hostess. Thank-you so much for your hospitality! Two notes: (1) the true wilderness does not come without bugs... My Off Skintastic was not quite potent enough for those little suckers. Make sure to bring Deep Woods. (2) The upper loft bedroom is accessible via a ladder... which is ok for older kids, but made it a little challenging with my Mr. Independent 2 year old. Need to keep an eye on the little ones just to make sure they have helping hands. Not to mention... the best holiday my dog has ever been on... :)"

  • Chase Magic

"More than a cabin this rental home was fully equipped with a great kitchen and living space, comfortable bedding and gorgeous views. We loved hearing the fish jumping out of the water so close to the dock and our little canoe was the best vacation we have ever had as a family. Our whole group enjoyed every moment of our stay in Chase, such a darling town with a large supermarket plenty of restaurants, close to the most beautiful public beach and playground. We really have nothing but amazing memories, the property is perfect for both our families in various ways, my retired Mother-in-law enjoyed relaxing on the swing in the backyard with a book, while the men practiced their fishing skills from the dock. My husband and I had such a fun time with our little one exploring the town jumping in the lake and going on the canoe. Later in the week Beverly arranged a special surprise getaway across the lake for a romantic diner at a beautiful restaurant across the water in Salmon Arm. I know our little one had an amazing time as well, running through the big backyard and the fruit trees. In town we found great videos even ones for children, Thomas! My favorite pastime was the quaint little town of Chase with all the things we needed for fun. In particular, we loved the specialty coffee shop, the great places to eat, and the fancy dresses at the ladies' boutique ready for a fun and fancy diner across the water. If I could put the whole experience into one word I would simply call in Magical! Thank you so much for the amazing memories, we definitely felt spoiled! Can't wait to make plans for another trip back, maybe this time in snow...."
