"For the past 12 years, 8 - 12 good friends travel to a different golf destination each summer. This year our destination was Sun Peaks and we were a large group of 12. Snow Country Lodge was a dream accommodation for us. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our after golf hours, 5 showers for fast and easy line ups after our golf games, a well equipped kitchen to do the occasional meal, and comfortable beds to rest up before our next round of golf. We were all so very impressed with everything at Snow Country Lodge. Without exception, all 12 of us will not hesitate to recommend this place to our friends. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us."Guest: Grace K. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 14, 2014View listing
"This condo had all the comforts of home and a very desirable location. Short walk to the village, community pool and tennis courts. The owners were great to work with and everything was a promised. This condo has it all. Especially enjoyed the hot tub at night to lay back and look at the stars. Sun Peaks has got something for everyone and for all ages. We will definitely be back!"Guest: Arne F. "Our group of 14 who participated in the Spartan Races held that weekend at Sun Peaks stayed at Triggers Triumph, it was ample space for all of us, amazing location to the race area all the amenities that a group that big would want and need. Having two kitchens was perfect. The hot tub was a plus after the grueling races. Communication with the owner was fantastic! Thank you!"Guest: Webb J. "We were two couples from Wales and Scotland visiting Canada for the first time. The accommodation was just as it had been described and was excellent. It was clean and very well maintained and the hot tub was a great way to unwind after a busy day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Should we have the opportunity of visiting again, we would choose a later date as not all facilities were open during our stay. Having said that, we were not disappointed as we had our first photo shoot of the local bears, husbands had a days fishing at a nearby lake where they caught four trout which we all enjoyed eating and the scenery was stunning. Thank you Trish."Guest: Jenny Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 30, 2014View listing

Sun Peaks Resorts Are Ideal for Water Tours
Schedule a canoe tour with the North West Voyageur Company for a unique trip around the lakes surrounding your Sun Peaks rentals. Along the way, you’ll stop for a visit to the John Tod Fur Trading Museum, where several beaver pelts and other exhibits occupy your time away from Sun Peaks resorts. This trip lasts most of the day, and if you include it in your Okanagan Valley travel plans, you’ll likely spot some of the resident moose, bear or even cougar.
Take an Eco Tour during Your Okanagan Valley Travel
If you’re a nature- or animal-lover at heart, plan on venturing out from your Sun Peaks rentals to take one of the Bear Tracks "Eco Tours" through the mountainous terrain where the resident black bears live. A guide will teach your group about the bears’ habitat, survival, behavior and even what to do if you ever come into contact with one in the wild. Along the way, you’ll stop for refreshments and the opportunity to experience bear displays. Sun Peaks resorts' patrons find this to be an informative and family-friendly activity to include in any Okanagan Valley travel plans.
