"Loved our 9 day stay at Peachy house in Sept. 2014. Everything we needed was there except our food. The weather was great, not 1 day of rain, and the sunrises on the deck and then morning coffee was a real treat after our rainy summer at home. The accomodations are comfortable and so much better than a hotel room. Hope to make a return visit to see the finished gardens."

  • Idyllic in every way...

"We are two couples, best friends, who have just spent four wonderful nights in the Guest House at Big Horn Ridge. The location is of course ideal as a base for visiting the Central and South Okanagan Wineries. The Guest House is beautifully appointed, and lovingly and meticulously maintained, and we had a splendid time. To give an idea of the welcome offered by Roger and Carla, I provide the following little anecdote: upon arriving back at the Guest House from a day of Naramata wine touring, on what was exactly my 70th birthday, we were greeted by Carla who said, "There's been a delivery, and it's perishable." It turned out that a dear friend, from another province, had called and asked Carla (whom we hadn't even met yet) whether there was a place nearby that could put together a gift basket, comprising fruit, cheese, crackers, etc. There being no such business nearby, dear Carla took it upon herself to scout around the area, and created a most wonderful collection of goodies, topped off by a 70th birthday helium-filled balloon. This was truly above and beyond the call, and I was touched beyond words. We'll definitely be back!"

  • Beautiful, spotless and a perfectly stocked kitchen

"Jinny and John were excellent hosts and the property was immaculate and located perfectly on Bottleneck Drive. Initially we were nervous about renting a property with the hosts next door, but this turned out to be a welcome change: John was always accessible when we needed him (directions, recommendations, an extra cord for our electronics...) but always respectful of our privacy. Our two small children (4 & 6) loved running and exploring within the vinyard that surrounds the house and were thrilled to have John teach them the fine art of wine PH levels! The house itself is perfectly located with a beautiful view of Giant's head mountain and the Okanagan. And if you love to cook this is definately the rental for you: the lovely kitchen was stocked with every cooking utensil and appliance one will ever need on vacation, and some that we didn't even know how to use! This location has been expertly rennovated recently and is spotless. I had to look hard to find a spot of dust, and when I did find one it was likely carried in by our children. Because this rental is located smack in the centre of the vinyards, it was an easy walk to a number of local, boutique wineries to purchase a wine for dinner or lunch. Although it's a bit too far to walk to the beaches (and dangerous as you pass highway #97) it was a quick 5 minute drive to the three main beaches where we spent significant time. Overall, a wonderful property for a family with children looking to enjoy all that the OKanagan has to offer. Would also recommend for couples or a group of adults looking for a golf and/or wine vacation."

  • Spectacular View Castle

"First of all it is definitely a castle, because its a very spacious house with an open concept. The location was great because wineries, fruit markets and especially the lake is right underneath your nose. The house as outside if even more spectacular inside, the owner definitely has a taste in design. The only down side is I wish I would stay there longer not for just three nights but minimum a week. Because three days is not enough time to take in all the beauty that this property has to offer. For bonus, the house owner is extremely nice and is always there if you need assistance. Would definitely recommend this property."
