  • Beautiful setting

"My large family enjoyed a very comfortable weekend at the Boyd's Nest. The house is well stocked, clean and cozy. Great location for outdoorsy activities. The kids loved the attic bedrooms. Very quiet, friendly neighbours and family atmosphere. We'll be back next year!"

  • In love with Mezzaluna and Halfmoon Bay

"We had been counting the days for our much needed vacation at Mezzaluna and we were not disappointed. We had a wonderful time, relaxing, rejuvenating and we fell in love with the Sunshine Coast all over again (we do every time we come). Beate made it all easy from the beginning and with the cottage so well equipped and such a perfect set up, we fell right at home... a home with a beautiful view and some lovely visitors like the deer wandering in the yard and the sound of whales in the ocean, just a short distance away in the quiet of the peaceful evening. Our Goldendoodle Pedro had a great time and enjoyed meeting Panda as well. Our recommendation is, if you're looking for a quiet, home-like, comfortable, clean retreat with an amazing view of the Georgia Strait and that gives you the opportunity to relax, do some serious star-gazing and listening to the sounds of nature, book Mezzaluna and enjoy it as much as we did!"

  • Warm, fun and inviting!

"Sylvianne goes out of her way to welcome you and make you feel at home. You realize immediately that you are in someone's lovingly cared for home. It has everything you need for comfort...and her patio is a real plus. We fell asleep outside with our books. The apartment is unbelievably cozy and charming. Her taste is apparent everywhere, and such fun! The location is excellent..you would be fine without a car, but the parking was also very much appreciated by us since we were continuing on. Some folks might have a problem with the height of the bed, but it worked for us, and is extremely comfortable...it's a virtual cocoon! We would return in a moment. Many thanks."

  • Great little Condo in the most PERFECT location

"We are spending our last night at Lake Placid Lodge and it has been a most convenient location to base ourselves over the 10 day stay. The apartment is extremely comfortable and amply catered for our family of 4 adults. Samantha has been an exceptional communicator, met us on the day and gave us many tips to assist the 1st time visitor to Whistler. The condo is very well stocked with many pantry items to enjoy some home cooking and makes a nice change to dining out over a longer stay. Conveniently located 50m to the gondola, supermarket, ski hire and Dustys for some après. Extremely quiet even over the Christmas NYE celebrations and a preference to staying at Whistler Village which is wonderful to visit. (The bus stop 30m away-$2.50 per trip) but great to leave as I imagine the plentiful bars would keep many people awake to the small hrs of the morning. We loved this place and would have no problems recommending it, and the hot hot tub is a treat for weary tired ski bodies."
