  • Excellent condo, great service and awesome location

"For our first visit to Vancouver, we could not have found a nicer place to stay, owned by lovely and helpful people. Every email was promptly answered, very helpful with tips, ie - how to get to the condo by local transportation. Condo was most comfortable and spotlessly clean. QUIET and very well kept building. Well equipped kitchen, all the basics needed were there. Easy walking distance to lots of places and easy walking distance to local transportation. Highly recommend. Ramona - from Burlington Ontario / Canada"

  • Really is paradise.

"We found that the house exceeded our expectations. The pictures don't really depict the special nature of the location or the fabulous view. We really enjoyed watching the marine activity and the birds - especially the eagle - from the balconies. Highly recommend this property as a base to explore the Sunshine Coast area."

  • Modern Tranquil Escape

"What a treat to stay at such an incredibly well designed home. The home is built in a way that captures the views of the bay perfectly below and is very private. The roof top deck is fantastic! The next level down is your fully stocked kitchen, dining room and living room. The folding patio doors are fantastic and expose the outer elements perfectly. That couch is so comfortable for just sitting and looking out at that fabulous view. When it gets cooler the floors are heated from the radiant heat! The next level down are the bedrooms. The master bedroom is large and the bathrooms are well designed and thought out with sliding doors for different uses. We were left some handcrafted soaps and lavender bath milk too. A nice touch! The two other bedrooms are good for kids with trundle beds for additional sleeping. The lowest level is the TV room with a futon couch. Great for watching movies. Outside is your garage and a little picnic table. Rosemary is abundant on this property! We picked some and used it when cooking our salmon on the BBQ! The only thing that was missing was a hot tub! Wouldn't that be amazing with a glass of wine in the evening? I think yes! We hiked Pender Hill, kayaked the bay, ate on the patio at the pub in Garden Bay, and pretty much just relaxed the entire time. A great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Vancouver. Fully stocked for everything you could think of! Thank you for allowing us to experience your lovely home."

  • Hidden Gem minutes from Sechelt

"My husband and I and our two well-traveled canines welcomed the new year at this very comfortable and well-equipped home, and enjoyed every minute of our week-long stay. Though we have visited Porpoise Bay Provincial Park off-season with our dogs on many occasions in the past, we had never driven three minutes further north along the same road to the community of Tuwanek. Our bad! Carmel Cottage is an ideal hideaway while touring the Sunshine Coast and walking/hiking its many trails, minutes from all amenities but in a very tranquil setting. We were fortunate to have a full week of dry (but cold) weather, and especially enjoyed the radiant floor heat keeping us warm. We also attracted two hummingbirds with a fresh batch of syrup in the feeder, and spent as much time watching them as the TV. Such is the charm of Carmel Cottage... Lastly, one of the highlights of our week was walking the many trails of Hidden Grove. The trails are well-maintained, clearly marked and absolutely ideal for humans and canines alike, so much that we made a donation - tax-deductible at that! - to support the efforts of the volunteers who care for the trails. All-in-all, a most enjoyable stay!"
