Location, Gracious owner, Cozy and pleasing aesthetic
"The West End is the best location in Vancouver: Stanley Park, beaches, coffee spots, ethnic foods and a real international feel. Leafy green streets, pocket parks, helpful folks. The suite is well decorated and equipped. It is small---great for a single occupant or a couple that can enjoy the intimacy of a cozy romantic space. The owner, is welcoming, charming and helpful. The suite has pleasing art and furnishings. There is a nice sound system; bring your own CDs."

"As a whole, it is a very good place for the price.
Good layout. The condo is spacious enough for 4, it might be a bit tight for 6. It is very central and convenient but it faces the main pedestrian street which means it can get quite noisy at night when people get out of the pub/club around.
Otherwise it is very well equipped and clean. Mattresses are getting a bit old.
Parking is 25$ a night. That's just Whistler."

"This was our first time to Whistler. The surroundings were majestic, the mountains gorgeous. It was beautiful! We typically stay at ski-in, ski-out (slopeside) condos when we travel and this one was a little misleading. Advertised as such, it was not. Pictures of private trails would give you the impression that it was slopeside, again, it was not. It was a short (less than 5 minute) walk up the hill to the Blackcomb Lodge’s entrance to the slope and once on that, an easy ride down to the Wizard Express. Coming home was a bit of a lengthy maze through the woods, but doable.
The downsides were the wear and tear on the condo. The vertical blinds that were to cover the back patio door were half missing, the sheets in the master were so pilled and worn, it was like sleeping on old sheets. While there was a humidistat in the condo which made the air more comfortable, the towels were terribly mildew. Coming from Florida, we are used to mildew, but even multiple rewashing didn’t rid the towels of the scent.
The hot tub was a very welcome addition and the fact that it was private made it even more special. The gas fireplace was a plus! Brigitta was quick to respond to our questions via email. However our concerns were not addressed, just merely noted such as needing a new battery for the garage door opener and the missing blinds.
Overall, it was not a bad place to stay but it does need some updating, some thorough cleaning and some new linens to have us stay there again."

"Impeccable, well equipped unit, great for our family of 4 with 2 adults and 4-year old twins, comfortable living room furniture, good beds, nice bath, well stocked kitchen, ideal location between 4th and Broadway. The owner Elaine was extremely pleasant and helpful, thank you very much for a great stay, we absolutely will plan to come back and recommend this apartment to our friends who want to visit Vancouver."
