  • 2 families with young kids

"We stayed at Calhoun's with another family and we were impressed with our stay at this 3 bedroom condo. One of the rooms was perfectly set up for 4 kids and the adults had the other room and loft bedroom. The place is not huge but comfortable and cozy. The eating area was great as we could all fit around the table and enjoy our meals that we created from the well stocked kitchen. Beds were comfortable and the kids loved the available Netflix. The facility pool and hot tub was a welcome relaxation for the kids and adults. The unit is very well maintained and up to date. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • Great place/location

"Us five girls rented this place for 3 days and it was awesome. The pictures don't do its justice. It is very clean and well maintained and comfortable/homey. It is beautifully decorated house with antiques all over. We just loved how close it was to the lake..since I had an ankle injury I was able to hobble over no problem. I would definitely use this again as a place to stay and recommend it to anyone. It is close to trails, the lake, tennis courts etc. Very good for any family to bring and ride their bikes as well. The place it well stocked as well. BBQ available and a nice area to sit outside with a view of the ravine/nature. We saw a couple of trains pass but it definitely was not a bad thing as this was a rare site. The lake itself is very warm and close to help you cool off on those hot days. Would definitely go back. :)"

  • Cozy and Close to the Slopes

"This rental property was everything we could have asked for (except maybe a hot tub). The value is incredible. The place was comfortable. There was plenty of wood for the fireplace, including an ax available to use for kindling. There was a ton of space for everyone to sleep. We only had five people but there is bed space for almost ten. More than five or six people in the place, I think it would be a little cramped though. The bathrooms had heaters which was an awesome plus too for showers after skiing. It is just 1km to the closest lift. There is a bus system to get you to town or a nice wide sidewalk that they keep plowed in the winter. I will definitely stay here again next year (assuming I make it back to Whistler)."

  • We didn't ever want to leave..... exceptional beauty and great value

"Jay and I had the most wonderful time during our stay! Thank you Ted and Suzanne for having us. The beauty of the house and the surroundings can't be captured in the pictures. Every inch of the suite is beautiful and spotless, bright and welcoming with exceptional views. Everything I had forgotten to bring was there for us, and more. The outside space is beautifully terraced, gorgeous view of the ocean, and super private - except for the lovely mum and baby deer that were hanging out in the lower yard on our last day. The furnishings inside and out were very comfortable and stylish. The kitchen was well equipped and fun to cook in. There were movies on the PVR for us to watch, and a great seletion of games to play. Ted and Suzanne were right upstairs if we needed anything, but gave us all the privacy we wanted and we forgot they were even there, except when they were gracious enough to provide us some beautful treats from their vegetable garden, or give us some advice on things to check out in the area. We couldn't have asked for a better more relaxing and beautiful way to de-stress, spend some lovely quiet time together in nature and really get away from it all. We hope to come back soon!"
