  • Great stay in Whistler, true ski-in / ski-out!

"Stayed here for 6 nights in March with my brother and a friend for some snowy days. Apt. was exactly as described, a true ski-in/ski-out location, balcony overlooking tubs/pool and piste, kitchen stocked with anything you would need, enough towles and even dishwasher detergent were provided! Melissa and Jason were a real pleasure to do business with, all questions were answered in no time, booking progress was smooth, overall a very pleasant experience. Only small thing missing (well, for us...) was a (even small) stereo with possibility to connect mp3-player / iPod so we could've heard some music... All in all, we could really recommend this apt. to everyone who's skiing or biking as you have it all directly in front of your balcony!!"

  • Amazing Location, Amazing Accomdation

"First I can't say enough about the location - if you are on transit it is only a half block to the bus stop with service every 15 minutes to Lonsdale Quay and the SeaBus taking you to in one direction and the Lynn Valley Mall and other retail stuff in the other direction. On the other hand, if you are driving it is only a few blocks of the TransCanada for quick access to East Van, Burnaby, and West Vancouver including such attractions as Grouse Mountain, Playland (@ PNE), and the Capillano Suspension Bridge! Next, suite is a bit of a misnomer in that although it is theoretically a suite under the main house it entirely a separate entity - separate entry with no access between top and bottom, separate heating, and from what I could see perhaps even separate hotwater. The condition of everything looks brand new in terms of both finishings and furnishings. Large windows let in lots of light and open to let in lots of air. The only thing shared with the main house is the yard and garden which is like a private oasis. Finally, when it comes to the rental agreement, payment, and administrative details, Wayne & Amanda are a pleasure to deal with - always available (even when they are on vacation as was the case both during our stay and when I was making the reservation) and more than reasonable about everything! Truly a great place to stay if you are going to be in Vancouver!"

  • North Vancouver home

"Our family of four stayed at Aardevin recently. This is a lovely, roomy and comfortable home. The views of the Deep Cove and its marina were beautiful. After a busy day of sightseeing in Vancouver, it was the perfect place to escape the frenzy of the city and recharge for the next day’s activities. The extensive DVD collection was a pleasant and welcome surprise. There is a very nice, very close and well maintained hiking trail which leads through a beautiful forest to an outlook over the cove. We really enjoyed the coffee shop, the ice cream parlor, the waterfront, the little art gallery (got a couple of souvenirs there) and Arm’s Reach restaurant in the idyllic little burg of Deep Cove. And of course- Vancouver was awesome."
