  • Wonderful Retreat

"We had a chance to spend a week here while getting our girls settled into UBC in early September. Shirley and Ron were wonderful hosts and offered many suggestions as to where to eat and what to do. The garden suite is very well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. It is situated in a vibrant area, nestled between 4th and Broadway, within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The beach is also a short walk away. This is a great place to stay and a wonderful retreat after enjoying the hustle and bustle that Kitsilano has to offer. We are looking forward to our next visit."

  • Convenient and cozy

"This place is truly a home away from home. Comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. Internet was fast and reliable. Needless to say, the location of this condo is really as close to the gondolas as one could possibly get. There are also many shops /restaurants nearby. The staff at the Sundial Hotel reception and the owner of this condo were very friendly and helpful. I will most certainly stay at this condo again next time when I visit. The only drawback I would mention is that sometimes the outside noise level at night can be an issue if you are a light sleeper. Most nights it is not an issue, but on some days (e.g. Super Bowl) the Longhorn Saloon downstairs can be very noisy."

  • A wonderful getaway!

"What a find! This great little cabin exceeded our expectations and is even better than the photos! My partner and I spent 2 nights here while mountain biking around the Sunshine Coast. The cabin is fully equipped, very cozy, private and clean. The outdoor/bbq area was fantastic. Going to sleep each night listening to the nearby stream was very peaceful and the beach access is just across the street. The owners are professional, it was well priced and we would definitely recommend!"

  • Everything you need for a LOVELY vacation!

"Our family of five (two adults, 3 children ages 12, 10, and 9) very much enjoyed this lovely property! The apartment is as bright and clean as the photos show. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to prepare, serve, and enjoy your meals. The beds, linens, and pillows are very comfortable and we all slept well. The small room off the dining area has floor-to-ceiling windows with shades for privacy/darkness while sleeping if you choose to sleep in the room (including shades to the inside of the apartment). The best part, though, is the view out of the living room windows--a beautiful view of False Creek and little David Lam Park below. We spent lots of time near the windows! The nearby area offers lots of dining options, a very nice market for groceries, and a short walk to the subway, water taxis, and BC place. One thing we loved about the location is that we parked our car in the provided spot and didn't move it until check out. We only had one problem and when I called Art to inquire, he immediately answered my call and helped me solve our problem--even offering to come and help us at the apartment (our problem--accessing the pool--just turn the key farther than you think it should go and the door opens right up!) Art was also more than gracious with our much later than anticipated arrival (we got stuck in rush hour traffic...) This apartment offers absolutely everything you could possibly need--both inside and in the area! We will definitely rent this property again if we head to Vancouver!"
