  • Excellent Location!

"This was our fifth stay in Whistler, but our first time with VRBO. We were very happy with our choice. The condo is fabulous, our son loved staying up in the loft. It is tastefully decorated and has all the necessary furnishings. The hot tub and pool were great too. The location is fantastic: we walked to everything from restaurants to even the ski lifts. The only reason why I gave four and not five stars is because the bedroom is on the back side of the building, facing the main street and there was a lot of beeping noise from the snow plows when we were there, and they start at 5am! The owners were very nice and easy to work with. We would definitely go back."

  • It really is sophisticated!

"The design/layout of the place is really modern. Major appliances such as dishwasher/fridge/microwave are all built in. Soft closing drawers are a nice touch. Kitchen equipment/utensil is fully equipped. Nice big flatscreen HD TV with HD channels. (although the sun glare makes it a bit hard to watch during day time). The home owner spare no expense in keeping his guests comfortable. Home owner is also easy to reach in if you should have any issues/concerns. I'd choose this any day over a hotel room. Walking distance to grocery store/supermarket. Gas station around the corner. 10 mins walk to a park/football & baseball field/children playground. 20 mins short bus ride to take you to skytrain station. The place would be perfect if it has a sofa bed. Queen size bed only sleeps 2."

  • Well kept condo in a great location, amazing value

"My family went to Whistler for 3 nights. We had 6 adults and were able to fit everyone perfectly. The master bedroom and the pull out couch were great for my parents and my wife and I, then my brother and sister got to use the beds in the spare bedroom. The only thing you should be aware of is the 1 bathroom, it was not an issue for us, but it could delay time to get ready. The great thing about the bathroom, it has a nice heated floor, great feature. The kitchen has everything you could need, the appliances and cookware are very useful. We did use the kitchen for breakfast every day and there was enough flatware and cutlery for everyone. We had a car, but it was about a 10 minute walk from the upper village, and the #5 bus was about 100 yards from the condo. I would recommend this condo to anyone going up to Whistler. Great value, and very nicely appointed condo, in a great spot."

  • Passing Orcas, Visiting Seals, Spectacular Sunsets...All Seen from Your Own Sundeck

"One of the first "wow" moments on arrival is the large, welcoming sundeck, complete with a covered eating area great for breakfast and dinner overlooking the beach. This was followed the next morning with a pod of Orca whales passing by within easy view. This well kept and supplied cottage worked very well for our 2 weeks on the Sunshine Coast. There was plenty of room for our visiting kids and grandkids. One bedroom is ideal for youngsters with 2 bunk beds (4 sleeping). We made good use of all of the space, notably the sunroom and living room area. We could have used more storage space for visiting family, but we managed. Swimming and use of the 2 person kayak was just a few meters away and was great. A tip: Because the beach is stony, they pretty much all are on the Sunshine Coast, bring along a pair of aqua socks. We made great use of the bar-b-q. And, if you eat out make sure you go to Daphne's in Sechelt (Greek) and Gumboot (in Roberts Creek). All in all we enjoyed our stay at the "Beachhouse" and are likely to want to spend time there again."
