  • Vacationers Delight!

"We had the privilege of staying here for a lovely 3 months (Oct, Nov, Dec). We loved the very comfortable beds, the light-filled open design and the ever changing sea and sky views 24/7. Loved watching the seals & water birds from the chairs inside or on the deck - as well as the activity of tugs, ships, & sailboats. Enjoyed all the amenities of nearby Sechelt - the community centre facilities, the shopping, natural historical society gatherings, craft fairs, the playhouse events, the hiking trails. The owners, Ed & Anndee, were very responsive to our every need. We look forward to returning!"

  • Oasis in the City

"We stayed at Green Gables for 4 nights as we attended several functions and family visits in the lower mainland. The location was perfect as we needed to go to downtown Vancouver, Maple Ridge, Aldergrove, and White Rock. We elected to make our own breakfast and the facility was great for this. We loved the spaciousness of the suite and all the amenities that were provided. During our "less hectic" time we loved spending time in the backyard enjoying the solitude, listening to the birds and the running water. It really was a paradise away from the busyness of Vancouver. Gabriella was so welcoming and we really appreciated the flexibility that she and Joerg provided. We plan to return and have recommended the place to our friends."

  • A Nice Alternative to a Hotel Stay

"Location: This property is at an older apartment building (eg. pink bathtub/older light fixtures etc.) in downtown New Westminster, BC. It is a short walk to the local Skytrain station which will make it easy for people to get around without needing a vehicle. There are many local restaurants and an area Farmer's Market up the hill from the apartment held on Thursdays. Unit: My husband and I were unexpectedly treated to a one bedroom unit for our stay instead of a studio. It was clean and well maintained. There is a full kitchen in the apartment suite with pots, pans, plates, glasses, cooking utensils etc. Parking: There is free parking on site. Wifi: There is free wifi in the unit. Reception: Chris was very friendly and a wealth of information for places to see in the area. Overall: This is a well maintained property which offers a homey environment. For those wanting to escape the hotel experience, this reasonably priced property allows a person to experience a home away from home."

  • Great stay

"Really enjoyed our stay at the condo. Everything we needed for a long weekend at Whistler. Could walk to the mountain, and to upper village. And a longer walk or short cab ride everywhere else. Quality kitchen, with all you can need for big dinner or pizza/wine. The owner was very accessible throughout."
