  • Relaxing Place

"Thank you so much! We had a great time at Madeira Park. The house was very clean and well equipped for all our needs. The kitchen has everything you need, we were all very impressed. We were able to cook some amazing dinners and relax in the garden, watching the sunset and ocean. We enjoyed hiking to a near-by lake and sea kayaking very much. We are going to recommend it to our friends and relatives. Thank you again."

  • Exceptional place in an exceptional city

"We spent 8 glorious days in Vancouver and this condo is just like it is described and even better. Trish was so nice to work with - very patient and flexible with us because we kept changing our dates along the way. She met us there upon arrival and showed us around the condo. The place was a perfect size for the two of us - nice sitting area to read in the morning and the view every morning was spectacular. Extremely comfortable bed and the bedroom also afforded a lovely view. After a long day of sightseeing, it was great to come home to a place that was so comfy and actually we liked being there so much did take out a couple of nights just to stay at home. two block walk to the seawall which is a real treasure. great restaurants nearby - The Banana Leaf (Malaysian food) was excellent and a tapas restaurant on burard and Davie was also very good. If you like walking as we do, coal harbour is about 15 minutes away and that area of the city is beautiful. Stanley Park was a bus ride away and we went back there a few times. We would't hesitate to return here for a future vacation and probably would stay longer."

  • Spent Ski

"We spent a week at Aberdair this spring. Whistler is an amazing place. The natural beauty and splendor is second to none. Generally speaking we were very pleased with the accommodations. Jerry is very available and helpful and really we f let wanted us to have a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful. Well located to all locations of need, and really our trip was excellent. A few minor frustrations. First, the house is so technology enhanced that it can be frustrating. From the hot tub not working, to the air and heat being hard to figure, to some of the A/V being difficult to work, it's just a tad frustrating. Jerry did everything in his power to work with us, but again, it's very technical. We were also a little surprised at small things. The garage had no where to park inside as it was filled with cars and equipment. The Christmas tree was still up in April. But really those are minor nits to what was otherwise a great place. I'd recommend and would welcome the chance to stay again."

  • Soul-reviving quietude

"We carved out a week in late winter to spend on the Sunshine Coast with our children, 9 and 4 years old. How quickly we all sloughed off our urban harriedness at The Aerie: a tribute to minimalist, upscale clean lines which highlights the stunning environment all around. Somehow our days became jam-packed with contemplating the tides at Sargeant's Bay, scrambling up rain-forested trails, rock-throwing contests, and mixing with the locals (deer, eagles, dolphins and seals, among others). Did I mention the 360-degree glass shower looking out into the forest? The hot tub on the deck? Or the gourmet kitchen? How about the incredible grace with which Heather and Bob hosted us? Can't wait to return... Save a cinnamon roll from the Sechelt bakery for me!"
