  • Don't Miss This Place!

"From the moment we arrived and were greeted as old friends, we knew we had chosen the perfect spot. The accommodations were beautiful and spotless, the view spectacular and the mattress was a slice of heaven! The area offered many hikes to amazing views and secluded spots to enjoy the harbor seals, sea stars, ocean etc. Boat tours offered area history and sunsets, and the Princess Louisa Inlet tour was a highlight of our stay! We enjoyed a mix of activity, great food and relaxation. SeaStar Cottage was unique in that it had neighbors nearby, but for the most part there was total SILENCE...and we enjoyed the sounds of the birds chirping and the deer coming through the woods to eat the blackberries. If you are looking for top notch quality, cleanliness, comfort and beauty, please do yourself a favor and stay here. Ron & Marilyn are the BEST!"

  • Modern Tranquil Escape

"What a treat to stay at such an incredibly well designed home. The home is built in a way that captures the views of the bay perfectly below and is very private. The roof top deck is fantastic! The next level down is your fully stocked kitchen, dining room and living room. The folding patio doors are fantastic and expose the outer elements perfectly. That couch is so comfortable for just sitting and looking out at that fabulous view. When it gets cooler the floors are heated from the radiant heat! The next level down are the bedrooms. The master bedroom is large and the bathrooms are well designed and thought out with sliding doors for different uses. We were left some handcrafted soaps and lavender bath milk too. A nice touch! The two other bedrooms are good for kids with trundle beds for additional sleeping. The lowest level is the TV room with a futon couch. Great for watching movies. Outside is your garage and a little picnic table. Rosemary is abundant on this property! We picked some and used it when cooking our salmon on the BBQ! The only thing that was missing was a hot tub! Wouldn't that be amazing with a glass of wine in the evening? I think yes! We hiked Pender Hill, kayaked the bay, ate on the patio at the pub in Garden Bay, and pretty much just relaxed the entire time. A great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Vancouver. Fully stocked for everything you could think of! Thank you for allowing us to experience your lovely home."

  • Relaxing and beautiful

"My wife and I stayed here for three nights at the end of an Alaskan vacation, not wanting to be in the hustle and bustle of the city before we flew home. What a great decision. The suite is immaculate and was everything we had hoped for. Gaylene and Daniel were gracious hosts who made sure we had everything we needed. The views were spectacular. We loved watching the seals play, all the different birds and a deer swimming out front! We hiked on some local trails (Francis Point Provincial Park) and ate at a nearby pub in Garden Bay (Garden Bay Hotel, restaurant and pub) which had terrific food. There is also a wharf in town where you can get fresh seafood to grill up on the bbq supplied at the suite. It was a great end to a fantastic trip. Thanks again to our hard working hosts who hopefully get a vacation of their own soon."
