"Magical Private Lakefront Getaway! This immaculate home is large enough to comfortably accommodate three or four families, and your beloved pet! Both kitchens are amazingly well stocked, the beds are super comfortable, and there is an excellent supply of bath and swim towels. Game boards, ping pong table, kayaks, sup boards, a floating island, and a boat house roof top to jump off of in to the warm lake, will keep everyone entertained! Great hiking trails and dirt bike/mountain biking trails are just out the front door. We had a rental boat delivered to the dock to enjoy water-sports on the gorgeous pristine lake. Enjoy meals on the huge deck overlooking the lake or take a short drive in to town to great restaurants. The Property Manager, Shelley, was fabulous at helping plan our stay and the Owner, Sherry, greeted us upon check in and check out to ensure everything was to our understanding and satisfaction. It is a five star accommodation and summer holiday experience! The kids keep asking when we can go back! We will be sure to return next summer : )"

"We had such a relaxing and enjoyable experience the first time at SGT we had to come back! This review is an additional review to supplement our original review which can be seen below.
1) Getting to SGT is only a quick ferry ride over from Vancouver, making it an accessible and perfect getaway on the Sunshine Coast.
2) The beach located five minutes down from SGT is a beautiful spot for admiring the beautiful sunsets. We ventured down there each evening and loved it!
3) Suzanne and Ted are very sweet and attentive hosts who somehow made this visit even more enjoyable than our first. As mentioned in the first review, they ensure that SGT is fully equipped and remains up-to-date on the technology front - Geeky Graham was especially impressed!
4) SGT is very well-located. It is removed from any road traffic and noise but is just a short drive for groceries and stores. We ventured up to Halfmoon Bay for a day appreciated its close proximity to SGT.
5) Lastly, the home itself is as immaculate and beautiful as it was the first time.
Thanks to Ted and Suzanne for having us and we will be back!"

"My two adult sisters and I stayed at the Carriage House for a week in the summer and had a wonderful experience. The accommodations are spacious, new, clean and lovely; there is a large and comfortable king sized bed, as well as a good quality pull-out sofa for sleeping. The great room had plenty of seating for the three of us, and dinner guests one evening. When we arrived, we were greeted with open windows, a kitchen stocked with more than the essentials (coffee, spices, condiments, rice etc.). The owners were warm and welcoming, but not intrusive. The property is quite private, but very close to beaches and beautiful views. It is about a twenty minute walk to the water and the heart of Gibsons, and we would recommend having a car in order to access all of the activities that the area has to offer. We felt like we got a great experience for a great value!"

"My husband and I were looking for a very special vacation home in a great location where our large extended family could celebrate a special family event. We found the ideal place in Phil and Devi's gorgeous Sunshine Coast home. We were warmly greeted by Devi and who gave us a wonderful tour of the house and made everyone feel totally welcome. I was delighted to see the large dining table which had been beautifully set with a lovely, festive theme. Having a table large enough to seat all of the family was a top priority for us.
The house was perfect. The main room has a vaulted ceiling with floor to ceiling windows facing the spectacular inlet and mountains. It is obvious that a great deal of effort was put into creating the beautiful decor. The furniture, especially in the main room, was very comfortable. (I'm sure that in the winter months it is beyond comfy to have friends and family reclining on the large sectional sofa enjoying a roaring fire.) The kitchen is modern, well-stocked, and was able to handle the many cooks who took part in meal preparations. There is a BBQ on the balcony off the kitchen which was big enough to meet the barbecuing needs of our big group.
There was plenty of space for people to gather in large and small groups throughout the house and the children were able to play without disturbing adults. All of the bedrooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable, but the Master Suite was especially enjoyable because of the exquisite view from its balcony, the large whirlpool tub, and a great shower.
The walk to the beach starts with steps going down through an amazing array of plants and flowers. Partway to the beach there is a grassy play area where we could look out at the inlet while sipping drinks and letting the children play. From there a long wooden staircase takes you down to a sandy beach, which can be large or small depending on the tides. The water was amazingly warm and everyone enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, and just playing in the water. Going out onto the water in the late evening was a particularly marvelous experience.
Thank you Devi and Phil for providing us the opportunity to enjoy a memorable family celebration in your delightful home and incredible beachfront. It far surpassed our expectations."
