  • December at Blue Orca

"Blue Orca was a great get away. The cottage is beautiful architecturally, and well-appointed. The view from the cottage is also excellent with ocean views in most of the rooms. Lots to do in the area as well - managed to hike every day. Kent and Krista were helpful and pleasant - good hosts. We would come back again!"

  • Lovely Vacation Place

"We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Seaside Suite for a couple of nights and were sad to leave. The suite is very clean and beautifully decorated and we loved being lulled to sleep at night by the sound of the waves. After busy days roaming around the Gibsons area we were very happy to relax on the deck next to the ocean with the waves lapping at our feet or in the extremely comfortable living room. We highly recommend the Seaside Suite and want to thank Cindy and John for being such accommodating hosts. We would love to return one day."

  • Passing Orcas, Visiting Seals, Spectacular Sunsets...All Seen from Your Own Sundeck

"One of the first "wow" moments on arrival is the large, welcoming sundeck, complete with a covered eating area great for breakfast and dinner overlooking the beach. This was followed the next morning with a pod of Orca whales passing by within easy view. This well kept and supplied cottage worked very well for our 2 weeks on the Sunshine Coast. There was plenty of room for our visiting kids and grandkids. One bedroom is ideal for youngsters with 2 bunk beds (4 sleeping). We made good use of all of the space, notably the sunroom and living room area. We could have used more storage space for visiting family, but we managed. Swimming and use of the 2 person kayak was just a few meters away and was great. A tip: Because the beach is stony, they pretty much all are on the Sunshine Coast, bring along a pair of aqua socks. We made great use of the bar-b-q. And, if you eat out make sure you go to Daphne's in Sechelt (Greek) and Gumboot (in Roberts Creek). All in all we enjoyed our stay at the "Beachhouse" and are likely to want to spend time there again."

  • Absolutely Amazing

"We had a wonderful two days here. The B&B is quite spacious with private entrance. The gas fireplace makes the whole place warm and cozy. There's a little kitchen area in the living room where you can make your coffee or tea in the morning. The bed is super comfortable. And we loved the hand-made soap in the bathroom. The hostesses are very welcoming and pleasant to talk to. We enjoyed their recommendations of restaurants, sight-seeing areas and shops. This place is about 10-15 minutes drive from the ferry terminal and 10-15 minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. There're a lot to see and to do nearby. Highly recommend this B&B!"
