  • Amazing Summer cabin Destination!

"Since discovering this gem, we have now returned for our 3rd summer. This is the perfect place for families to visit the Sunshine Coast, providing a large deck with a breathtakingly stunning view down the Sechelt Inlet (I have seen many amazing views in my life and this is definitely one of the finest), an expansive green space to play and lounge on - with a hot tub too - and then a sheltered beach cove with calm, shallow water to beachcomb at low tide (bring water shoes) and lots of swimming options as the tide comes in. The place comes with boats and kayaks you can borrow too! You are only a 10 minute drive from Sechelt village with cafes, shopping and groceries, and yet you feel like you are on a remote island getaway. It is very spacious with a comfortable homey feel. 2 minute drive from Porpoise Bay for a sandy beach, and also from Hidden Grove Hiking trails. We love it!"

  • Family friendly cabin

"We had a lovely time in the cabin on the Sunshine Coast, we were incredibly lucky and had a full week of sun! The cabin is perfect for a multi-generation family, plenty of space to spread out when the Grandparents want peace and quite with enough space to eat and socialise together, the kids loved the garden especially finding the 2nd 'secret' garden and we loved the upper deck at sunset! The well stocked kitchen, games, DVDs, laundry etc made the place feel much more like a home from home which made travelling with youngsters that much easier and a welcome retreat to return to after days exploring the beaches, parks and trails in the local area."

  • Passing Orcas, Visiting Seals, Spectacular Sunsets...All Seen from Your Own Sundeck

"One of the first "wow" moments on arrival is the large, welcoming sundeck, complete with a covered eating area great for breakfast and dinner overlooking the beach. This was followed the next morning with a pod of Orca whales passing by within easy view. This well kept and supplied cottage worked very well for our 2 weeks on the Sunshine Coast. There was plenty of room for our visiting kids and grandkids. One bedroom is ideal for youngsters with 2 bunk beds (4 sleeping). We made good use of all of the space, notably the sunroom and living room area. We could have used more storage space for visiting family, but we managed. Swimming and use of the 2 person kayak was just a few meters away and was great. A tip: Because the beach is stony, they pretty much all are on the Sunshine Coast, bring along a pair of aqua socks. We made great use of the bar-b-q. And, if you eat out make sure you go to Daphne's in Sechelt (Greek) and Gumboot (in Roberts Creek). All in all we enjoyed our stay at the "Beachhouse" and are likely to want to spend time there again."

  • Incredible views and wildlife

"Very clean and well equipped cottage, breathtaking ocean vista with humpback and orcas, seals, eagles, loons, cormorants sightings and more. Chuck and Darlene are very obliging, informative and friendly. Stairs down might prove a bit daunting for those not fleet of foot."
