"This is a very comfortable and elegant house in a cute, safe and convenient neighborhood. A friend and I and our 2 teenage daughters spend 5 days here for sightseeing and soccer tourism. The house has 3 nice bedrooms, TV room, living room, great kitchen, beautiful garden, laundry, elegant furniture, etc. The landlords are very kind and helpful with advice on getting around/dining/etc. if needed.
The location is in a quiet tree-lined older neighborhood in Kits area close to downtown and you can walk in just a few min to great food/beach/bus routes/grocery/parks/shopping/etc. Some terrific bakeries (Sollys for cinnamon rolls) and restaurants (Nuba!). We rented bikes close by, there are many safe bike paths nearby (even for kids). Very easy to catch bus into town (15-20min).
Drawbacks? Not many come to mind, but parking is tight. Careful backing up in driveway due to a close by tree. A car is helpful to go hiking in mountains but otherwise is not needed at all. Taxi from airport is ~$25-30 (20min).
Conclusion: It was great. We would definitely come back."

Good location, very convenient "mini-apartment" and excellent service
"I had 2 days of meetings at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club and needed a place that was walking distance, good value for the price and wanted to be close to the waterfront to do my morning run. The place was very clean, the bed had good support (unlike some hotels) and I liked the fact that it was close to the pharmacy, a convenience store and restaurants. I was 2 blocks away from the park from where I was able to see the fireworks over the marina. Manfred, thanks again for the service. You can call that man several times and he always picks up the phone with a smile in his voice and delivers on your needs. Definitely recommend and I plan going back next time I am in town hoping to take advantage of the kitchen and the gaz range."

"We stayed at the Modage for 9 nights, the property is kept spotless, is well furnished and whimsical. Not your grandparents furniture, thank God. And the beds were comfortable, as well. It seems like it was recently remodeled because everything was up to date. nice open kitchen to living area. Even a separate office on main level. We did not rent a car during our stay and relied on walking and taking the bus, which conveniently had a stop 2 blocks away and you could go straight downtown."
