  • It really is sophisticated!

"The design/layout of the place is really modern. Major appliances such as dishwasher/fridge/microwave are all built in. Soft closing drawers are a nice touch. Kitchen equipment/utensil is fully equipped. Nice big flatscreen HD TV with HD channels. (although the sun glare makes it a bit hard to watch during day time). The home owner spare no expense in keeping his guests comfortable. Home owner is also easy to reach in if you should have any issues/concerns. I'd choose this any day over a hotel room. Walking distance to grocery store/supermarket. Gas station around the corner. 10 mins walk to a park/football & baseball field/children playground. 20 mins short bus ride to take you to skytrain station. The place would be perfect if it has a sofa bed. Queen size bed only sleeps 2."

  • A Home Away From Home

"We stayed at the Graveley Garden Suite for four weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the suite, the surroundings, the patio areas and the parking facilities. The suite had everything we needed and more. It was clean, well furnished, quiet and comfortable. The location was great, near fresh veggie and fruit markets, shopping, restaurants and coffee shops. A very interesting an diverse neighborhood and only a block away from Commercial Drive. The owners Susan and Leslie couldn't have been nicer, more helpful and made us feel right at home. We have recommended this suite to our friends and would definitely stay there again."

  • Wonderful house for multi-generational family get-together

"For my mom's 80th birthday, we gathered from both US coasts in Vancouver for a week. There were 14 of us, 5 kids 7-18yo, and 9 adults 42-80yo, with various interests in the outdoors, shopping, eating, cooking, walking, and working. The house was both cozy and sleek - it's a lived-in house for the owner's family of five with a beautiful, well-appointed eat-in kitchen. We were required to employ the amiable housekeeper daily, and this helped us with meal prep (among other tasks, general know-how, etc.) - the gargantuan breakfasts of tortas and fresh fruit, for example. The location is good - 3km SSW of Granville Island, 4 km west of the amazing vintage clothing emporium, front & co., 3km NW of the Van Dusen Botanical Gardens. The grounds contain a vegetable and flower garden, a trampoline, altogether several outdoor "rooms". It would have been extra nice to have brought or rented bikes to explore w/o getting in a car or walking as the location is so central. We made many day trips: rock-climbing in Squamish, mountain-biking at Whistler, shopping at the Aberdeen Center, .. {to be continued}"

  • Great Location and accomodations

"Can't say enough about this property or the owner/renter. Suite was ready and available on time and the space was amazing and the property itself is well maintained. Location was great with all amenities. The apartment was spotless and felt like home in no time. Jack was available any time and quick to answer questions and provide anything we were missing. Beach is a 15 minute walk away and is located in a great area of Vancouver with lots restaurants, grocery store and shops nearby. Was the best vacation I have had in many years and I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Vancouver - I am off Hotels for good I think! The only thing we were missing was an iron and ironing board. The only reason I mention that is to have some bit of feedback on how to make it better....other than that I can't say anything negative about my experience. Will definitely be returning as soon as possible!"
