  • Amazing

"The condo is just as it appears in the photos, with lots of high end finishes, as one would expect. The unobstructed sunsets from the living room and the balcony, with a glass of wine, were highlights of the stay. Mark is excellent to deal with and met us upon our arrival. The downtown location is close to restaurants and a short walk from Granvile Island and Stanley Park. There is an Urban Market grocery in the adjacent building that has all your require, if you wanted to cook. But why cook, when there are so many great restaurants on your doorstep. The onsite concierge was very helpful with shopping(a short walk to a plethora of stores) and restaurant suggestions. We never made it to the gym/pool/spa, apart from a quick look, but all were very well equipped. We stayed for 4 nights and hated to leave. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Vancouver."

  • Great stay in a great condo

"After reading the previous review about noise, heat and keys we were a little apprehensive - but that was completely blown away when we met the owners' son who gave us two sets of keys and showed us the air conditioner - which is simple to operate. We had blistering hot weather, but the condo was a haven of coolness when we returned from our many walks to bakeries and boutiques, trips to the beaches, Kitsilano's huge swimming pool and downtown Vancouver. Yes - W 4th Ave is busy during the rush hour but quiet after 10:00 pm. We live (most of the year) in a tranquil close and are not used to noise - but we had no problem. This is a well appointed condo in a well run building. We had one of our best vacations ever (and we have been throughout North America and to many parts of Europe and even Africa). The attraction for us was the ability to walk to countless tiny, chic retailers, coffee shops and restaurants and enjoy a trendy, upscale locale close to English Bay and the glorious water and mountain views. A bus stop right outside the main entrance to the condo development means you can get to Downtown Vancouver quickly and cheaply - without the hassle of finding and paying for parking. We walked to Granville Island a couple of times - and took the little passenger ferry once just for the fun of it. The owners are wonderful people who have thought of everything to create a perfect "pied-à-terre" to enjoy the unique environs. We can thoroughly recommend this condo and would really love to stay at this condo again in 2015."

  • Great apartment in Vancouver

"We stayed here August 22-27 and had a great experience. The apartment is very spacious, we had 5 adults & my 1 year old. The apartment was very clean on arrival and the views are spectacular. The owners and Alka were very easy to get a hold of any time I had a question and were great to deal with. Walking distance to all mainland Vancouver attractions, close to the water taxi port at the casino or yaletown and right next to the sports venues. The area the condo is in does border the seedier part of Vancouver, we did not have any issues however you do see some interesting characters if you head back to the apartment at night. The entire building is secure and we did not feel unsafe at any time."

  • Vancouver - The Place for Extended Stay

"We have rented apartments around the world, but the set up at The Pinnacle was the easiest and most convenient. The owner made booking and payment simple with his website. Checking in was also easy. Upon arrival, we found a squeaky clean, cozy apartment with everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped. The little office nook had it all -- a printer, easy internet access, phone, and paper clips. The bed and furniture were comfortable and functional. The elaborate entertainment system kept us busy on rainy days, and the electric fireplace made it comfy. I had been worried about the location. But, it could not have been better. Walk one way and we were in the heart of the city. Walk the other, and we had the False Creek waterfront and all of the Yaletown restaurants. We loved the Urban Fare grocery store, and we bought a pass on the False Creek ferries. We have no reservations in recommending this rental."
