  • Lovely living space in Vancouver's best neighborhood

"My family (me, my husband, our newborn, and my mother-in-law) thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is lovely, comfortable, and well-appointed. Better yet, it's situated just 3 blocks from Commercial Drive, which - in my opinion - is the most walk-able and delicious neighborhood in Vancouver. The charming, helpful owners keep the living room well-stocked with travel-themed books, and we give them oodles of bonus points for having a first edition (1982!) Lonely Planet Guide to India. Rare for a VRBO, the kitchen is both beautiful and quite functional. So, once we settled into a routine with our newborn, it was a treat to switch from take-out to shopping for ingredients on the Drive and coming "home" to a primo space to cook meals. We'd consider ourselves lucky to stay here again!"

  • A Nice Alternative to a Hotel Stay

"Location: This property is at an older apartment building (eg. pink bathtub/older light fixtures etc.) in downtown New Westminster, BC. It is a short walk to the local Skytrain station which will make it easy for people to get around without needing a vehicle. There are many local restaurants and an area Farmer's Market up the hill from the apartment held on Thursdays. Unit: My husband and I were unexpectedly treated to a one bedroom unit for our stay instead of a studio. It was clean and well maintained. There is a full kitchen in the apartment suite with pots, pans, plates, glasses, cooking utensils etc. Parking: There is free parking on site. Wifi: There is free wifi in the unit. Reception: Chris was very friendly and a wealth of information for places to see in the area. Overall: This is a well maintained property which offers a homey environment. For those wanting to escape the hotel experience, this reasonably priced property allows a person to experience a home away from home."

  • Very nice upscale condo

"Having stayed at this condo for one month, I can recommend highly recommend it. The place was clean and very well stocked with all necessary items. All appliances worked well, and the internet speed was strong. There is a little office area next to the living room, which is perfect for business travelers. The building is in a very nice area with all shopping, food, liquor store, etc...within a minute of two walk, or just downstairs. They have a nice pool and Jacuzzi and a small gym. The owners were very professional and took their time to walk me through their place and tell me about the neighborhood. The water taxis are just at the end of the street, along with the sea wall. In short, it is a very nice place to stay for an individual or a couple, and I would recommend staying here."

  • Location perfect-a home away from home

"Stayed for a month in winter/spring this year. It was so cosy and in a terrific position for easy transport on either Broadway or 4th Ave or MacDonald. These streets all have very frequent buses in many directions, just a short walk from the suite. The Kitsilano area is a wonderful community with strip shopping and loads of eating places, bakeries etc and a big supermarket at the end of the street. The upstairs suite is bright, lots of windows, has a lovely outlook at treetops and in winter one can see the local mountains. It is surrounded by very attractive housing, tree lined streets and the water and city view is just at the end of the street- easy walking. The suite is very spacious with 2 full bedrooms, lots of cupboard space and plenty of amenities especially the white fluffy towels. It was very easy to communicate with the owner Derek and we always received quick responses to any queries. Looking forward to a return stay and would recommend this place highly."
