  • Wonderful Week in Kitsalano

"Adjectives to describe our week at Candace and Alan's suite must include comfortable, clean, relaxing, convenient, well stocked and picturesque. The kitchen was not only well stocked with utensils; but also with provisions (from Stong's - a grocery store worthy of it's own story). The International Fireworks display at Sunset Beach Park was visible from the patio. Candace's garden was the perfect start to each day with morning coffee. Restaurants of every bent, produce markets, bakeries too numerous to count, and English Bay were all within walking distance. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood, driving and surprisingly parking is easy. Well done Candace and Alan."

  • Great location and had everything we needed.

"Stayed with my 4 year old son, mother and husband. The property was clean modern and very well equipped. It really did have everything we needed. Lovely location and very convenient for both parking and public transport. Derek was very prompt in responding to any questions and queries before we arrived. We were very happy with our stay. Thank you!"

  • Great Place, Fantastic Hosts, Amazing Location

"My family and I recently relocated to Vancouver from Los Angeles and Craig and Bev's fantastic loft served as homebase while we looked for a place of our own. Everything was exactly as pictured and described. The loft was immaculate and spacious enough for a family of three plus our gigantic Labrador Retriever.. The kitchen was wonderfully outfitted with every appliance one could possibly need for preparing a simple repast or a gourmet meal. The loft is located on a quiet part of the street but a 5-7 minute walk brings you right to the heart of Commercial Drive, filled with wonderful shops, bars, restaurants and markets. There are also several parks nearby for kids and pets. I truly cannot think of a better location for discovering the vibrancy and diversity of Vancouver or a more convenient or relaxing place to have stayed than Craig and Bev's, who were kindest and most accommodating of hosts. They even left fresh vegetables from their garden on our doorstep! I plan on recommending the loft to family and friends when they come to visit us in Canada!"

  • Wonderful house for multi-generational family get-together

"For my mom's 80th birthday, we gathered from both US coasts in Vancouver for a week. There were 14 of us, 5 kids 7-18yo, and 9 adults 42-80yo, with various interests in the outdoors, shopping, eating, cooking, walking, and working. The house was both cozy and sleek - it's a lived-in house for the owner's family of five with a beautiful, well-appointed eat-in kitchen. We were required to employ the amiable housekeeper daily, and this helped us with meal prep (among other tasks, general know-how, etc.) - the gargantuan breakfasts of tortas and fresh fruit, for example. The location is good - 3km SSW of Granville Island, 4 km west of the amazing vintage clothing emporium, front & co., 3km NW of the Van Dusen Botanical Gardens. The grounds contain a vegetable and flower garden, a trampoline, altogether several outdoor "rooms". It would have been extra nice to have brought or rented bikes to explore w/o getting in a car or walking as the location is so central. We made many day trips: rock-climbing in Squamish, mountain-biking at Whistler, shopping at the Aberdeen Center, .. {to be continued}"
