  • Very comfortable suite in a great location!

"My wife and I stayed at Rebekah's and Malcolm's for two nights in early August. This one-bedroom unit is nicely appointed with comfortable bed, couch and chairs. Lots of classy touches. Although it is a basement unit there are plenty of windows to make it bright and airy. There is a private backyard. Their home is located on a quiet tree-lined street, but only a short walk to great restaurants on W 4th Ave and W Broadway. We parked the car for the two days and walked and cycled. Nice hosts and great value."

  • Exceptional place in an exceptional city

"We spent 8 glorious days in Vancouver and this condo is just like it is described and even better. Trish was so nice to work with - very patient and flexible with us because we kept changing our dates along the way. She met us there upon arrival and showed us around the condo. The place was a perfect size for the two of us - nice sitting area to read in the morning and the view every morning was spectacular. Extremely comfortable bed and the bedroom also afforded a lovely view. After a long day of sightseeing, it was great to come home to a place that was so comfy and actually we liked being there so much did take out a couple of nights just to stay at home. two block walk to the seawall which is a real treasure. great restaurants nearby - The Banana Leaf (Malaysian food) was excellent and a tapas restaurant on burard and Davie was also very good. If you like walking as we do, coal harbour is about 15 minutes away and that area of the city is beautiful. Stanley Park was a bus ride away and we went back there a few times. We would't hesitate to return here for a future vacation and probably would stay longer."

  • Yaletown Luxury with a Million Dollar View

"My wife and I stayed in this lovely apartment for a whole month this past June, while visiting our daughter who lives in Vancouver, and we would have stayed another month if not for the fact that it was already booked. The apartment is even better than it looks on the website, with fantastic views from every room ( excluding the study, where you don't want to be distracted by views!). The spacious apartment, on the 21st floor and in the premier position bang in front of the building overlooking False Creek, was spotlessly clean and very well maintained, tastefully decorated, had comfortable furnishings ( including a very comfortable queen bed!) and the kitchen was well equipped with all the mod cons you could wish for. We were blessed with exceptionally good weather during our stay, so I did a lot of cooking on the Weber BBQ on the balcony. The owners provide two bicycles for use, and use them we did, nearly every day, and found it a wonderful way to explore Vancouver..... and keep fit at the same time! (I was VERY impressed with the way Vancouver City provides safe cycle-ways for bike riders, and only wish my own city would follow their example) The apartment is in a wonderful location in Yaletown, with many restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, entertainment etc all within walking distance. Even the City Centre ( at Robson & Granville) is walkable in less than 20 minutes. Yaletown itself is a delightful area to base yourself in, it has a 'village' feel to it, and we found it to be totally safe to walk around, even during the late evenings. After just a week there we felt like 'locals'. The owners are a delight to deal with. V arranged for us to arrive a day earlier than booked, and she met us on arrival, and gave us a detailed tour of the apartment and the apartment building. After we had settled in, V phoned us the next day to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction. ( It certainly was!). A week into our stay a very unusual 'incident' happened in Yaletown one morning, just a block away ( it made the TV news!) and V again phoned me that afternoon to make sure we were OK. Towards the end of our stay, we even went out to dinner with our gracious hosts, and had a delightevening chatting about our travels and setting the world to rights. My wife and I have every intention to stay at their apartment when we visit Vancouver next year. (I just hope this review doesn't lessen our chances of finding it vacant!)"

  • Great stay in Mount Pleasant

"You will enjoy your stay in this beautiful garden suite. We were comfortable and well provided for. Stephanie and Dan were always ready to answer question if we had any. The location is convenient to access nice shops in the area, and it was easy to get around town via the bus and subway. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy spot that is just outside of downtown."
