    "My wife and I rented this neat condo for a week while we visited friends and took in the sights. What a jewel! We found the unit to be exactly as described, no more, no less. The photos were accurate and the unit clean and well maintained. Joy was a pleasure to work with. There are restaurants and a market within easy walking distance. Public transit is close by and will take you pretty much wherever you want to go! Make sure you go to Stanley Park and the Granville Public Market. We had our car so the secure parking was much appreciated. We will surely be back again!"

  • Convenient, Compact Condo in Convenient Location

    "My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful stay in this well-equipped, secure condo excellently situated in Vancouver's West End. "Location is everything"--so this condo has it all. We explored Stanley Park, the Sea Wall, Canada Place, Gastown, Granville island, English Bay, downtown Irish Pubs and restaurants, the superb Vancouver Public Library and more. Within blocks we could access a variety of tours, including whale watching, harbour excursions and seaplane trips. The Sky Train--both the Expo and Canada Lines--are easily accessible and grant rapid transit to more distant points around the city. For cyclists, there are several rental outlets within one block. The 10th floor views of the North Shore mountains, Stanley Park, the Vancouver Yacht and Rowing clubs, and restless Georgia Street are beautiful and fascinating. The condo itself was clean, well-maintained, convenient and supplied with all necessary cooking and eating utensils, towels and sheets. As well, the firm, comfortable bed allowed for restful sleep. A washer and dryer added to the convenience. The internet and TV service were excellent. The owners were most helpful in answering any questions we had, and they had posted useful directions for routine use of the condo, parking, cleaning, etc. Overall, this condo exceeded our expectations and permitted a most enjoyable stay in the dynamic and beautiful city of Vancouver."

  • Great stay in a great condo

    "After reading the previous review about noise, heat and keys we were a little apprehensive - but that was completely blown away when we met the owners' son who gave us two sets of keys and showed us the air conditioner - which is simple to operate. We had blistering hot weather, but the condo was a haven of coolness when we returned from our many walks to bakeries and boutiques, trips to the beaches, Kitsilano's huge swimming pool and downtown Vancouver. Yes - W 4th Ave is busy during the rush hour but quiet after 10:00 pm. We live (most of the year) in a tranquil close and are not used to noise - but we had no problem. This is a well appointed condo in a well run building. We had one of our best vacations ever (and we have been throughout North America and to many parts of Europe and even Africa). The attraction for us was the ability to walk to countless tiny, chic retailers, coffee shops and restaurants and enjoy a trendy, upscale locale close to English Bay and the glorious water and mountain views. A bus stop right outside the main entrance to the condo development means you can get to Downtown Vancouver quickly and cheaply - without the hassle of finding and paying for parking. We walked to Granville Island a couple of times - and took the little passenger ferry once just for the fun of it. The owners are wonderful people who have thought of everything to create a perfect "pied-à-terre" to enjoy the unique environs. We can thoroughly recommend this condo and would really love to stay at this condo again in 2015."

  • A Nice Alternative to a Hotel Stay

    "Location: This property is at an older apartment building (eg. pink bathtub/older light fixtures etc.) in downtown New Westminster, BC. It is a short walk to the local Skytrain station which will make it easy for people to get around without needing a vehicle. There are many local restaurants and an area Farmer's Market up the hill from the apartment held on Thursdays. Unit: My husband and I were unexpectedly treated to a one bedroom unit for our stay instead of a studio. It was clean and well maintained. There is a full kitchen in the apartment suite with pots, pans, plates, glasses, cooking utensils etc. Parking: There is free parking on site. Wifi: There is free wifi in the unit. Reception: Chris was very friendly and a wealth of information for places to see in the area. Overall: This is a well maintained property which offers a homey environment. For those wanting to escape the hotel experience, this reasonably priced property allows a person to experience a home away from home."
