  • Good location, Nice property, Lovely owner

"This is a nice, very clean, 2BR condo. We are accustomed to sharing a larger house with another family, so to us it felt a bit small -- but it's probably a typical size for a 2BR condo. There are walking paths to Blackcomb base, which we did use; even carrying/wearing all of your equipment, it's not a bad walk, 10-15 minutes mostly on a tree-lined walking path, with a short bit along a street. If you don't want to walk, the free BCTransit bus stops in front of the development's driveway; it runs quite often and can take you to Blackcomb base and the village proper. The free underground parking is secure, and though the spaces are small, we parked our rented Escalade there -- just maneuver carefully. The vestibule has a hanging ski rack and more than enough space to stow all your equipment, even your luggage, while you're there. You can probably fit a bike in there in the summer, too. Check-in was a problem for us, but the property mgmt company finally straightened it out. The owner followed up as rapidly as she could and went out of her way to "make it right". She is a lovely person to speak with; if you have questions before or during your stay, you won't feel like you're being a nuisance by contacting her. Small quibble: A few of the things that we've come to expect in kitchens were absent -- salt/pepper, coffee filters, foil, containers with lids for leftovers... admittedly, that's not a big deal, but it did surprise us. Nice showers, lots of blankets, comfy beds, good pillows. The bunk beds are a little lightweight, the kind built more for younger children, so if you have an older, taller, bigger person in the top bunk, it can sway a bit. That said, our two kids (boy and girl) were very happy that the "kid room" had completely separate beds so that they each had their own areas. The owner provides the special logs that you need to make a fire; the little stove doesn't give off a lot of heat (which is a good thing in a small space) and gives a cozy feel to the room. When we were there (early April), snow had abandoned the bottom third of the mountains. We saw many people who probably paid a ton of money for ski-in, ski-out properties that were surrounded by bare grass. Watching them walk a long way to their properties left us feeling fiscally happy: even though we were walking 10-15 minutes, we knew that we had paid far less than they did and we had just as much convenience to the lifts."

  • Just as Advertised

"I spent 4 ski days (5 nights) @ this condo to start 2015. The unit was well located for a time-saving ski-in/ski-out vacation and was a welcome respite at the end of a great day on the slopes. Neil & Toni were very informative & answered all my questions (about the unit & about the area in general) in a timely & courteous fashion. Every detail about our unit was just as described on the website & met our needs perfectly!"

  • Convenient and Comfortable

"Stayed at the Aspens week of 3/7/15. We found the condo to be a great fit for our family of 4. Beds were comfortable, as was the living space. Kitchen was a bit small, but very nicely appointed and serviceable. The condo faces away from the pools which keep it quiet, while getting the pools is a simple walk down a stairwell 30 feet away. Very easy walk down the slope to Blackcomb base and another 5 minutes on path to Whistler. Pool and hot tubs were clean and warm and never too crowded. Would definitely recommend this unit to any group up to 4 people. Alan was great during the booking process and checked in on our first day of stay. When back in Whistler we will definitely rebook!"

  • Best trip to Whistler yet!

"My family and I make Whistler an annual destination over the holiday season and were thrilled we came across this condo! You simply could not ask for a better location! This condo is as close as you can get to the lovely Whistler village, which is no more than a 100 steps from your front door. The village offers every single amenity you could ask for, from shops, stores, fine dining, night life, you name it! The best part is even though you're so close to the village this condo still gives you the feeling of being nestled deep in the forest! This is thanks to the private location amongst some tall cedars and the fact the creek is outside your front door. Most importantly the main lifts onto Whistler and Blackcomb are steps away, so you can get ready in the warmth of your condo and be on the chairlift in minutes! The condo itself is well furnished and appointed. I really like how it's laid out over 3 floors, which gives a little separation which is well needed while on vacation. The kids can hang out on the third floor loft watching TV or playing video games, and we can hang out on the main floor enjoying a glass of wine (BC has some AMAZING wines)! The bedrooms are cozy and beds extremely comfortable – hotel like! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, just like home! Best part is the grocery store is just a short walk away! Condo has cable, wifi, flat screen TV's, you name it! This condo has quickly become our home away from home while in Whistler. The owners are great and super easy to communicate with – and they always provide a little gift upon arrival which is a nice touch! Can't wait until our next trip, already counting down the days!"
