  • Average condo, short walk to slopes

"This was our first time to Whistler. The surroundings were majestic, the mountains gorgeous. It was beautiful! We typically stay at ski-in, ski-out (slopeside) condos when we travel and this one was a little misleading. Advertised as such, it was not. Pictures of private trails would give you the impression that it was slopeside, again, it was not. It was a short (less than 5 minute) walk up the hill to the Blackcomb Lodge’s entrance to the slope and once on that, an easy ride down to the Wizard Express. Coming home was a bit of a lengthy maze through the woods, but doable. The downsides were the wear and tear on the condo. The vertical blinds that were to cover the back patio door were half missing, the sheets in the master were so pilled and worn, it was like sleeping on old sheets. While there was a humidistat in the condo which made the air more comfortable, the towels were terribly mildew. Coming from Florida, we are used to mildew, but even multiple rewashing didn’t rid the towels of the scent. The hot tub was a very welcome addition and the fact that it was private made it even more special. The gas fireplace was a plus! Brigitta was quick to respond to our questions via email. However our concerns were not addressed, just merely noted such as needing a new battery for the garage door opener and the missing blinds. Overall, it was not a bad place to stay but it does need some updating, some thorough cleaning and some new linens to have us stay there again."

  • Excellent Stay

"We stayed four nights in this condo, there were 4 adults and our dog, lots of room for all of us. The place is perfect exactly like the pictures, there is everything that you would need to make it feel like home. Linens and Kitchen very well stocked with anything you would need. Really enjoyed our time, easy to walk to the village and around Lost Lake, our dog loved going for a swim in the lake every day. Very quiet location which we really liked close to the village but far enough away from the village noise especially at night. Owner was easy to deal with and responded back very quickly to all my inquiries. Will definitely be back to stay again. Thanks for sharing your place with us."

  • Excellent value

"Our family arrived just in time for Superbowl and this was an awesome suite for a small group gathering (many other listings have small tube TV's) - modern furnishings, full kitchen, great fridge and comfortable beds and nice and quiet at night. For those with kids, this unit is steps from the kids ski school at the base of Blackcomb. Other ski in/out locations are up the hill and not suited to non-skiers or older adults who may not want to walk down the slope to get to the upper village. This is also a terrific location if you want to access the X-country or snow shoe courses at Lost Lake. The check-in and key access is very simple and doesn't require going to a separate office etc. as it's part of Glacier Lodge, plus there is a beer/wine store in the building and a market across the street...handy for those without a car. The owners were also very responsive and timely with information and questions. A great stay and good value for the area."

"Great Vacation! The property was better then listed. Clean, lots of room for the family and all the basics in the kitchen and bathrooms. It also had a coffee grinder, if I had known I would have purchased beans and not grind coffee. A list of things included and in the kitchen would have been nice. Code door was great for every one to come and go as they pleased with a 2 min walk to the hill and free bus to town. Parked the car in the underground parking and never moved it. With the 110 cm of new snow during the week the skiing was great and we didn't want to drive on the roads. The BBQ was great for cooking dinners. On the covered deck, so no snow just another room of the house. Kids had a lot of fun when we went for dinner at the "Mongolian Grill" Would recommend this property and would come back."
