"As a long time visitor to Whistler, I hadn't actually been back up there since well before the Olympics. The opportunity presented itself to come stay in this condo and we had a wonderful fall weekend in Whistler. The condo was clean and well appointed. The staff at the Glacier Lodge were extremely pleasant nice to interact with. The location of the condo would be great if you were skiing... just a short way from the bottom of the Blackcomb ski lift. As it was, we had our bikes for some fall riding, and found the location an easy distance to designated bike trails and this a great way to see the area when not on skis. The owners of this condo are very responsive to issues and nice to work with. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this place for anyone."

"We spent a week at Aberdair this spring. Whistler is an amazing place. The natural beauty and splendor is second to none. Generally speaking we were very pleased with the accommodations. Jerry is very available and helpful and really we f let wanted us to have a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful. Well located to all locations of need, and really our trip was excellent. A few minor frustrations. First, the house is so technology enhanced that it can be frustrating. From the hot tub not working, to the air and heat being hard to figure, to some of the A/V being difficult to work, it's just a tad frustrating. Jerry did everything in his power to work with us, but again, it's very technical. We were also a little surprised at small things. The garage had no where to park inside as it was filled with cars and equipment. The Christmas tree was still up in April. But really those are minor nits to what was otherwise a great place. I'd recommend and would welcome the chance to stay again."

"My family and I make Whistler an annual destination over the holiday season and were thrilled we came across this condo! You simply could not ask for a better location! This condo is as close as you can get to the lovely Whistler village, which is no more than a 100 steps from your front door. The village offers every single amenity you could ask for, from shops, stores, fine dining, night life, you name it! The best part is even though you're so close to the village this condo still gives you the feeling of being nestled deep in the forest! This is thanks to the private location amongst some tall cedars and the fact the creek is outside your front door. Most importantly the main lifts onto Whistler and Blackcomb are steps away, so you can get ready in the warmth of your condo and be on the chairlift in minutes!
The condo itself is well furnished and appointed. I really like how it's laid out over 3 floors, which gives a little separation which is well needed while on vacation. The kids can hang out on the third floor loft watching TV or playing video games, and we can hang out on the main floor enjoying a glass of wine (BC has some AMAZING wines)! The bedrooms are cozy and beds extremely comfortable – hotel like! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, just like home! Best part is the grocery store is just a short walk away! Condo has cable, wifi, flat screen TV's, you name it!
This condo has quickly become our home away from home while in Whistler. The owners are great and super easy to communicate with – and they always provide a little gift upon arrival which is a nice touch!
Can't wait until our next trip, already counting down the days!"

"This was one of those vacations were everything went right. We were a family of four with two 8 year olds and we stayed for four nights, which turned out to be a perfect amount of time, as the kids started to argue on the last night, one more day and we would have had war.
The cabin was comfortable and cozy, exactly what I was looking for in a log cabin, including the fact that it stayed cool throughout the day. The lake is breathtaking, nothing could beat lying on a floaty in the middle of all that natural BC beauty, nothing except sitting on the deck in the morning and having a doe come calmly walk past the cabin as you eat breakfast.
We meet Michael the first night we were there and he told us about the hike to see the waterfall, it is a medium difficulty hike in that is is almost all uphill, but with a bit of encouragement and a lot of mentally counting to 10 my two kids made it up there, I'm so happy they did, the falls are beautiful, worth the couple of hours.
The only thing that came as a bit of a surprise is that there is an active train track close to the cabin, and a train came past at 3:30am one morning, did not bother me but did wake one of the kids up who decided they needed to sleep with mum and dad....that woke me up. This only happened the one night. I personally find the sound of trains to be a wonderful noise so I really enjoyed it, just thought it was worth mentioning. You get maybe two trains a day, all the other times it went past we were at the lake so it did not disturb us at all.
This was my first owner rental experience and it was excellent. The communication from the owner was great, a very smooth transaction. My family was made to feel very welcome at this property.
We recommend this property if you are looking for somewhere to have no cell service, relax and get away from everything."
