"This place is perfect for a large group or multiple families with young children. It has 5 bedrooms. You can fit lots of people. Large enough for the kids to be able to run around a little bit. It's location is great. It's located on the edge of Whistler village. Close enough to everything, but far enough that you won't be hearing all the noise from the crowds at night. About a 5 minute walk to the main Gondola. Great for the kids. There are 3 free parking spaces in the garage. There is a garage literally attached to the building where you can pay $10/24 hours. It's the only house/condo in the building. The bottom floor is RBC (Royal Bank of Canada). Above that is the Whistler Wired office and some restaurants. Subway, Harajuku (Japanese) and an attached small Japanese market. Across the parking lot is a grocery store. The rest of the building is your condo. Your kids can be almost be as loud as they want and no one would care. Hot tub is great, especially after a long day on the slopes. Only drawback is that you have to walk through the master bedroom to get there. Didn't get to try the sauna, but they have one. They have plenty of storage area for boards/skis/boots. Lot of hooks everywhere to hang sweaters and jackets. There even is an elevator that comes up to your condo from the garage. Each room has a separate thermostat so you can personalize your temp.
The condo shows its age in some areas, but otherwise has been nicely updated/renovated and well maintained. Will definitely be staying here again if we come with a large group."

"Our two families spent last weekend at Drumkeeran House in Pemberton for two nights. It was such a great experience there! The House is an easy drive from Vancouver or from Whistler Village. It is beautifully located on the lake and with lots of different trees on the property. In the morning we saw humming birds and other birds, and at night we could hear the frogs around Ivey Lake. It is a large waterfront lakeside luxury log house on the tip of a peninsula in a crescent shape. One night we enjoyed a BBQ dinner right in front of the lake. They have a lovely private dock and kayaking on the lake is a very nice experience. The views there are beautiful. The house is great for getting together with family and friends - two stories, big wood fire place, spacious living areas, hot tub outside, neighbouring woods, pool table on the second floor, etc.. The house is beautifully decorated and filled with wonderful First Nations, Canadian and European art. Our stay there was very comfortable.
This is a great place for several families’ retreat. Kids will love the experience. The price is very reasonable for such a luxury house as there are six bedrooms, with comfortable king or queen size beds, as well as a loft. We will definitely go there again. The caretaker, Sharon, who lives in a separate cottage on the 5 acre estate, was very helpful."

"Upon arriving I had to call the owner as we couldn't get the front door key to work. He instructed us how to use the difficult entry lock and all was well. The owner was courteous and had a box of cookie mix waiting for us in the kitchen. The home was clean though the patio was
not swept and we found an old beer carton in the chiminea. Overall the expert was a good one. Furnishings were lovely and the kitchen well appointed. My only suggestion would be to provide some cards or family games. We could not get the DVD player to work but we didn't have that much to watch anyway. The location was great..a quick aqua bus ride down the block to Granville Island and easy access to the seawall which we enjoyed walking."
