  • Best accommodation in Whistler!

"This is hands down our favourite place to stay at when visiting Whistler! The location is extremely convenient. It's located right across the street from the IGA so the village is at your finger tips when you need it but also provides a bit of distance and quiet when you don't. The unit is exceptional with a very homey and cozy feel. The separate levels provide plenty of privacy and the private hot tub is a huge perk! Great value for the price. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating - we left something behind during one of our stays and the hosts coordinated with housekeeping and arranged for us to retrieve it. We've visited with both friends and our newborn and had a great stay each time. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be staying here again!"

  • Great place.. fantastic hosts!!

"We stayed for the weekend at the start of Spring break and had a wonderful time in this cabin. We are 2 families with children ages 14-24. The place is conveniently located for gondola ride (minus the traffic) and a short walk to the lake. The rooms have comfortable beds and pillows with fresh and clean linens and towels. The bathrooms and kitchen have everything that we need. We also used their barbecue grill at the patio. The living room is a good size to gather, to watch TV or play board games by the fire place. The hosts are superbly nice and accommodating, we couldn't thank them enough for our wonderful weekend break. We loved this home, our children are booking the cabin again for their next trip. If you're thinking of a Whistler getaway, we definitely recommend this home away from home."

  • In love with Mezzaluna and Halfmoon Bay

"We had been counting the days for our much needed vacation at Mezzaluna and we were not disappointed. We had a wonderful time, relaxing, rejuvenating and we fell in love with the Sunshine Coast all over again (we do every time we come). Beate made it all easy from the beginning and with the cottage so well equipped and such a perfect set up, we fell right at home... a home with a beautiful view and some lovely visitors like the deer wandering in the yard and the sound of whales in the ocean, just a short distance away in the quiet of the peaceful evening. Our Goldendoodle Pedro had a great time and enjoyed meeting Panda as well. Our recommendation is, if you're looking for a quiet, home-like, comfortable, clean retreat with an amazing view of the Georgia Strait and that gives you the opportunity to relax, do some serious star-gazing and listening to the sounds of nature, book Mezzaluna and enjoy it as much as we did!"

  • Taluswood #36 - Feb 20th 2015

"Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice house, well presented. Living areas are very dark even with the blinds open and at night the available lighting in the living room didn't seem to be enough to effectively light the space. The hot tub wasn't heating properly on our third day. It took us a lot of searching to find the hot tub instructions (hidden under the hot tub steps) to eventually discover the hot tub had put itself into sleep mode and would take hours to reheat. Despite being advertised as having ski-in/ski-out, this wasn't signposted and the only access we managed to find was a long, steep walk up Nordic Drive. It's hard to imagine that walk being feasible on a snowy/icey morning/afternoon. Maybe there's another ski-in/ski-out that we didn't find?"
