"A great place to stay. A touch of home and family away from home. We went with our family, there was more than enough space for everyone plus enough space to for just the two of us. The rooms are clean and furnish with great furniture. The view from the balcony is amazing, you can relax after the whole day of roaming the tourist spot. We cooked our breakfast and supper. Big dining table to accommodate our big family of 11 including a toddler that can run around with the spacious house. I will highly recommend this vacation house. The location is great enough to be away from crowd and close enough to all the attractions."

  • A Nice Alternative to a Hotel Stay

"Location: This property is at an older apartment building (eg. pink bathtub/older light fixtures etc.) in downtown New Westminster, BC. It is a short walk to the local Skytrain station which will make it easy for people to get around without needing a vehicle. There are many local restaurants and an area Farmer's Market up the hill from the apartment held on Thursdays. Unit: My husband and I were unexpectedly treated to a one bedroom unit for our stay instead of a studio. It was clean and well maintained. There is a full kitchen in the apartment suite with pots, pans, plates, glasses, cooking utensils etc. Parking: There is free parking on site. Wifi: There is free wifi in the unit. Reception: Chris was very friendly and a wealth of information for places to see in the area. Overall: This is a well maintained property which offers a homey environment. For those wanting to escape the hotel experience, this reasonably priced property allows a person to experience a home away from home."

  • Incredible for the price

"We rented Penny's condo for a week in February and it was perfect! The unit is very spacious - we had plenty of space for ourselves, our 2 year old lab puppy and a friend. Everything is in excellent condition and in a great location, straight across Marketplace and the shuttle stop to bring you straight to the ski lifts. Penny's directions were extremely straight forward, although we are from Vancouver and are very familiar with Whistler, so maybe this is why we didn't have any issue. Parking is secured and very close to the entrance of the condo. Penny contacted us by email during our stay to let us know her husband would stop by to drop off some knives (it seems knives had disappeared during a previous stay), which was greatly appreciated. My only pet peeve was the fireplace on a timer that ticks down from 60 minutes - takes a bit of the relaxing atmosphere when all you can hear is the tic-tic-tic on the wall!!! That aside, I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone who wants to spend a few days in Whistler!"

  • Perfect winter holiday spot for extended family

"We had a wonderful mini-reunion at this beautiful home -- spent 8 luxurious days getting to know our new granddaughter and spending quality time with our son and his wife (Janey had a basket of age-appropriate toys waiting for us upon arrival). The exceptionally well-equipped kitchen was perfect for our holiday meals and the open concept let everyone get involved ... assuming we could keep our eyes away from the views or using the binoculars to zoom in for a close-up of the eagles flying by. Baby in the backpack and off we were for trail-walking and exploring the area in general (Halfmoon Bay Cafe was almost a daily stop for great coffee and pastries!). Ringing in the new year here was the best, with the perfect balance of winter outdoor activity and relaxing times reading by one of the fireplaces. A very special place ... we're planning a return visit, that's for sure!"
