"Great Vacation! The property was better then listed. Clean, lots of room for the family and all the basics in the kitchen and bathrooms. It also had a coffee grinder, if I had known I would have purchased beans and not grind coffee. A list of things included and in the kitchen would have been nice. Code door was great for every one to come and go as they pleased with a 2 min walk to the hill and free bus to town. Parked the car in the underground parking and never moved it. With the 110 cm of new snow during the week the skiing was great and we didn't want to drive on the roads. The BBQ was great for cooking dinners. On the covered deck, so no snow just another room of the house. Kids had a lot of fun when we went for dinner at the "Mongolian Grill" Would recommend this property and would come back."

  • Great stay in a great condo

"After reading the previous review about noise, heat and keys we were a little apprehensive - but that was completely blown away when we met the owners' son who gave us two sets of keys and showed us the air conditioner - which is simple to operate. We had blistering hot weather, but the condo was a haven of coolness when we returned from our many walks to bakeries and boutiques, trips to the beaches, Kitsilano's huge swimming pool and downtown Vancouver. Yes - W 4th Ave is busy during the rush hour but quiet after 10:00 pm. We live (most of the year) in a tranquil close and are not used to noise - but we had no problem. This is a well appointed condo in a well run building. We had one of our best vacations ever (and we have been throughout North America and to many parts of Europe and even Africa). The attraction for us was the ability to walk to countless tiny, chic retailers, coffee shops and restaurants and enjoy a trendy, upscale locale close to English Bay and the glorious water and mountain views. A bus stop right outside the main entrance to the condo development means you can get to Downtown Vancouver quickly and cheaply - without the hassle of finding and paying for parking. We walked to Granville Island a couple of times - and took the little passenger ferry once just for the fun of it. The owners are wonderful people who have thought of everything to create a perfect "pied-à-terre" to enjoy the unique environs. We can thoroughly recommend this condo and would really love to stay at this condo again in 2015."

  • Cozy, comfortable, great value!

"I stayed in this condo with my husband, a friend, and our dog this past weekend. This condo was perfect for our needs. It was a great value - much cheaper than a studio hotel room in the village. It is full of nice touches to make it more homey and cozy - a huge fireplace, heated entryway and kitchen floors, and loads of hangers and hooks to hang wet clothing after skiing. Kitchen had everything we needed, and the internet worked perfectly. The patio was also very nice, we got to sit outside and watch the snow fall on our first night. Laurie was extremely responsive to all of my emails and even let us check out late when we requested it at the last minute. The ski in/out is a short walk, but we also found it is very easy to drive 5 minutes to the Creekside village and park all day in an underground lot for free! The washer and dryer were a bit temperamental, but nothing we didn't eventually figure out. I think the previous reviewer has very misguided ideas about Whistler prices. The condo is accurately advertised and far exceeded our expectations for the price."

  • 5 star quality in every way!

"West Coast modern luxury..... a beautiful, open floor plan, high ceilings, architecturally thought out to fit the land incredibly. The floor to ceiling windows made it feel like I was falling asleep and waking up in the outdoors. Heather and Bob were such gracious hosts and the grounds are so nice to walk and spend time in. Our dog loved it too..... his daily walks by the ocean foraging for sticks and starfish!! You will not be disappointed. So many unique and special things about this place to mention........"
