  • Relaxing and beautiful

"My wife and I stayed here for three nights at the end of an Alaskan vacation, not wanting to be in the hustle and bustle of the city before we flew home. What a great decision. The suite is immaculate and was everything we had hoped for. Gaylene and Daniel were gracious hosts who made sure we had everything we needed. The views were spectacular. We loved watching the seals play, all the different birds and a deer swimming out front! We hiked on some local trails (Francis Point Provincial Park) and ate at a nearby pub in Garden Bay (Garden Bay Hotel, restaurant and pub) which had terrific food. There is also a wharf in town where you can get fresh seafood to grill up on the bbq supplied at the suite. It was a great end to a fantastic trip. Thanks again to our hard working hosts who hopefully get a vacation of their own soon."

  • A perfect stay at The Modage

"This delightful town house met all our needs and more ! It was cosy , comfortable and well equipped - every thing we wanted was there . We successfully cooked dinner for 6 with ease which has not been our experience in previous rentals ! The apartment is very tastefully decorated with many interesting pieces of modern art . As long as our son and wife live in Kits we will always return to The Modage . Morag and Brian Cosford"

  • A Real Gem!

"We have owned a condo at Whistler for over 20 years and needed to rent one because ours is under major renovation this season. So we know the area well and are very particular about location and being able to ski in and ski out. We have rented several this season and by far this is the best! This complex is small and tucked away at the edge of the village and we didn't even know about it until finding the website. The location is unbeatable because you can walk to all the restaurants and shops as well as to the gondolas for either mountain. But it's quiet - much quieter than being in the village. Once you are here you really don't need a car. On top of that the unit is really nice. It's nicely laid out on 3 levels with a big wrap-around deck which is very useful in spring and summer weather. Great hot tub too. The deck and hot tub overlook the driving range next door. Because it's an end-unit the condo has lots of windows so it's nice and bright. And it's nicely furnished and decorated and has comfy beds (3 queen bedrooms and 2 small bunk rooms). Another useful item is that the kitchen has basic food staples - so handy for cooking. We didn't find that in any of our other rentals. And the owner is extremely nice to deal with. I think this is a fabulous unit for visitors to Whistler. And it's great value for your money. We have rented other ski-in/ski-out units in the Benchlands which cost more and although they were bigger, they had very poor layouts and were disappointingly dark from lack of windows. This is the absolute best location and the unit is really nice. We often get asked about where is a good place to rent and we will definitely recommend this unit."

  • Great Location! Well equiped. Cant wait to come back

"We stayed at The Gables with 2 other couples and the location is great. It's really close to both mountains, 150 yards. There was plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen is very well equipped for when you want to cook a meal. The BBQ on the balcony worked great for our steak night. The front entrance has ample ski and snowboard storage and the boot and glove heater was a bonus and well used. The wood burning fireplace was great to add ambiance at night. Having 2 parking spaces for free was a bonus as well. Sue and David were great to deal with and made arranging activities a breeze. We used David as a guide on our first day and he took us to places we would have never found on our own."
