  • Comfortable beach house in a great location

"We stayed in the Beach House for 2 weeks in August and found it very comfortable, spacious, clean and well equipped - it had absolutely everything we needed including a very well equipped kitchen and even 3 bicycles for our use! The location is excellent - a few minutes walk from the beach in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood. Although we didn't meet the owner, he was available to offer advice and answer any queries before and during our stay which was very helpful. The beach house is a great location for day trips to Vancouver, trips to the US or just relaxing on the beach and enjoying the local sights all of which we did. I'd highly recommend this property for a family holiday."

  • A perfect stay at The Modage

"This delightful town house met all our needs and more ! It was cosy , comfortable and well equipped - every thing we wanted was there . We successfully cooked dinner for 6 with ease which has not been our experience in previous rentals ! The apartment is very tastefully decorated with many interesting pieces of modern art . As long as our son and wife live in Kits we will always return to The Modage . Morag and Brian Cosford"

  • Spacious family home

"We stayed here in this large home with several families and young kids the week after Xmas. Good floor plan with bedrooms having adjacent bathrooms, the steam room, hot tub and sauna perfect after a day on the mountains, and the pool table for evening fun. The kids attended Creekside ski camp and the house is conveniently a 7-10 minute drive from Whistler village and Creekside and we saw quite a few taxis in front of our street so if you don't have a car, the drive to town shouldn't cost that much. You can't get much closer to Whistler village than Blueberry Hill where the house is located. House stocked with lots of wood for cozy fires in the living room and master bedroom. We spent a lot of time around the kitchen and breakfast bar area. Peter the manager is very pleasant to deal with. Only negatives were the furniture was a little old - the dining chairs were not comfortable (they're very low seats and a seat cushion is mandatory), the living room sofa was old and dusty (we looked under the cushions looking for a lost tablet and think the cleaners should do a thorough job of vacuuming/dusting), the stereo system badly needs an update. Peter was nice enough to bring by a set of portable speakers as the house speakers were blown out before we arrived and luckily we asked some of the guests to bring their own speakers. While we aren't TV junkies by any means, to satisfy some of the guests some of the time, I'd suggest getting more cable channels than the basic package. Our house party also cooked a lot and we found the kitchen had just enough of the basics to cook and serve a large party of 14 (or more with guests over for NYE.) A great house, easy to live in and move around without feeling crowded or stepping on other people's space."

  • couldn't get better

"We loved EVERYTHING about this cozy condo perch over the village: location, style, amenities, beds, access to hot tub and pool, view. It's a jump down to the gondola and a stroll down to the grocery store. It's amazingly quiet and snug, even though you're right in the middle of the action. Best of all, Alan arranges anything and everything, from discounted ski tickets to reservations at the best restaurant in Whistler. This is where you wanna be. Just let us have it against next year!"
