  • Great place, great price!

"Stayed here for 2 nights with a group of 9. The property was clean and had everything that we needed. It was a bit tight sharing one washroom, but we made it work. In terms of sleeping, there were some spare mattresses provided along with the beds so that was nice. Danny was helpful on the day of arrival especially with helping us find parking. I'd certainly consider coming back in the future."

  • Comfortable & Convenient Apartment in A Pleasant Area

"The apartment is comfortable, clean & well furnished and equipped - we were short of nothing in terms of equipment & everything worked! The basement apartment is a bit dark with no view which is not a moan as it's clear in the description but everything else still combines to rate 5 stars. Having said that we weren't in Edmonton to stay in an apartment all day so ultimately it wasn't a major issue but just something to be aware of. The apartment is in a leafy avenue one block back from a main road which has the advantages of being quiet yet convenient for buses to Downtown or West Edmonton Mall. It's also only two minutes from access to MacKinnon Ravine with a very pleasant trail down to the river & on towards Downtown 4 or so kilometres away. Jasper Plaza is 5 minutes walk away with a Safeway, London Drugs & similar shops so it's not absolutely necessary to have a car available if you don't mind carrying you bags for 400m or so. For those planning on using public transport check out the Edmonton Transit website for the books of tickets that save money & are more convenient. Although we didn't use them there are restaurants & pizza carry-outs within walking distance. The acid test is would we stay at Glenora again? An unequivocal yes. Although we were primarily visiting family we still did one or two touristy things & Fort Edmonton Park, Telus World of Science, Alberta Aviation Museum are certainly worth a look. The Streetcar from Downtown to Strathcona over the High Level Bridge is a must & if you like Farmers' Markets you've a choice on a Saturday with a trip St Albert or Old Strathcona (take the Streetcar- arrive in style)."

"Perfect property in a perfect location! You can see the beach and the sea while lying in bed in the morning. It really is as good as it looks in the pictures."

  • Beautiful apartment in wonderful central location.

"From Vancouver, Canada, we booked this two-bedroom apartment for Thanksgiving Weekend to spend the time with our two young adult daughters and cook up a traditional Thanksgiving feast. The accommodations were truly wonderful; the apartment is very spacious, quiet, comfortable and fully equipped, including all the kitchen accoutrements needed to support a big feast! The apartment is beautifully and tastefully decorated, helping support our five star rating. The location is exceptional, in the heart of Old Montreal, a few minutes' walk from many restaurants, art galleries, Notre Dame cathedral, and grocery and liquor stores. It is a short drive to McGill, Concordia and UQAM, and reasonably handy to Université de Montréal as well. (We had a car.) Also to the downtown business district. railway station and Sherbrooke St. shopping. These are not within convenient walking distance, although all of Old Montreal certainly is. The owners' agent made the access to the apartment and the parking very straightforward. Obviously, we were delighted with our experience."
