"We're here right now, and are having a great time. The house is exactly as described, and if anything it understates the experience. Beautiful view from the backyard, and lots of room for the 4 of us. A nice touch is the small library of books....rooms are very spacious, and beds are comfortable. House was very clean on arrival......exceeded our expectations. If I have to add a negative, and this is really reaching, is that maybe a house number would make it a little easier to identify on arrival......took us an extra 5 minutes so like I say no big deal. :)"

"Lovely view, quiet and charming. Short drive from St. John's.
Would have been nice to have some home heating prior to arrival. Took many hours for home to warm up. New corkscrews needed. Very little toliet tissue. Had to go buy some.
Great layout. Excellent area for entertaining."

Ideal location for a group trip to the bay (group trip to the bay).
"We heard about the Church from a group of friends that had stayed there earlier this year. By all accounts, it was a fantastic spot. We just got back from our first weekend at the Church, and it exceeded expectations. The scenery on the drive to and from St. John's is breathtaking, the beach is only a short drive away, and there are more than enough games and activities at the Church to keep people of all ages entertained for days on end..! We absolutely loved the unfinished games basement, but equally pleasing were the modern and extremely clean bathrooms and bedrooms. The kitchen and living area were also exactly what we were hoping for. Bottom line, you can't go wrong with the Church at Ochre Pit Cove."

"The property is well taken care of. The owner is very pleasant. She was there at our arrival in order to fix a small problem with the inernet. There is a small convenience store in the village. The docks were closed at that time but expected at this time of the year. There is many trails for hicking in the area and a small bars with very friendly people. We played darts while we were there which I haven't done since I was a kid. The drive in the cove is a must see.Helen, the owner just adopted a young boy a we wish her well. It is a nice place to get a well deserve rest when you need it. It's worth the drive till the end of the road.
Take care helen
