  • peaceful retreat

"My daughter and I stayed here for a week in August. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the river and cool breeze. The owner was on call and very helpful. The place was well equipped and very clean. I would recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely be back and hope to be lucky enough to rent again."

  • Excellent family get away

"We spent our annual family gathering at Iron Ring Log Chalet - it was all and more than we expected. The layout was fantastic, clean and inviting. The best part of it all was the VHS movies, so nostalgic, the extensive board games and Wii. I didn't do too well on the dance game - so will have to practice for the next time. Highly recommend this unit - will be back."

  • Shhh.....Don't tell EVERYONE!

"This was an ideal place for our family. This clean, comfortable, airy home is situated directly overlooking the Bay of Fundy in Beaver Harbor. The property is phenomenal, having several areas to sit and overlook the swelling of the tides, as well as access to two private rocky beaches which are wonderful places to look for sea glass, sit and read or build a fire. Highway One is not even 10 minutes away, giving you quick, easy access to day tripping in St. Georges, St. Martin, The Fundy Trail, Deer or Campobello Island. (My recommendation is to go to The Fundy Trail and go to the Hearst Lodge...a fun experience). The house itself has a good amount of space, the kitchen well stocked with equipment (coffee maker, Kitchen Aid mixer, nice knives and pans, microwave, etc...) and is decorated well. If you are considering traveling to New Brunswick I can not more highly recommend that you consider staying at this fantastic home."

  • Great Vacation!

"We rented the entire property, Lakeside and Hillside, in July 2014 with a group of 16 adults and 3 small children (from Texas and Michigan). Plenty of space - just right for our size group. The house was great. We've done numerous similar "family reunion" trips in various locations in the US, Mexico, and now Canada, and rented houses of similar size to accommodate our large group. I have to say this house was one of the best equipped homes we've rented. Very well stocked kitchen upstairs and bar downstairs. Everything you need is provided. Furnishings look relatively new and everything was very clean. Beds are fine - not "Hilton "quality mattresses, but better than most and nothing to complain about. The lake was perfect for us. The lake is small but big enough to ski / wakeboard. We rented a ski boat for the week (needs to be delivered as the lake is not large enough for a marina). There was very little traffic on the lake - on most days we were the only boat. House also provides two canoes and two kayaks, which we took advantage of. Very nearby there is a "treetop trekking" place that is a combination of zip lining and obstacle course (in the trees). I very highly recommend it as an activity! About 3 hours and worth every penny. Had a couple minor maintenance issues arise and they were promptly addressed - no complaints. The owner, Charles, is very honest and easy to deal with. We had no problems. Security deposit was returned promptly. What you see on the website is what you get. If anything, the pictures do not do the house justice."
