"Perfect in every way: proximity to National Park attractions, unobstructed views of Cape Smokey & the magnificent Atlantic Ocean. Total seclusion, yet right on the Cabot Trail with amenities handy. Singing Pebbles made me feel I was living a dream; cooking was a pleasure in the fantastically equipped & high end chef's kitchen with the million dollar view. It was an ideal setting to explore the Highlands Park western end. The only downside was that we had to vacate after our week flew by. I would definitely say that staying in such an exquisite house enhanced the natural wonders of this unique part of Cape Breton. Thank you Jitka for the care & imagination you & Gilbert invested in this special dwelling."

"My husband and I selected this home for its Inverness location and because it was dog-friendly. We were not disappointed. The house is wonderful, photos don't do it justice. The first thing I noticed was the wonderful windows and the bright and open floor plan. The house was clean and in good condition and fully equipped. There are so many wonderful places to sit, relax and enjoy the sunset and see the view of the water. The nearby Inverness Beach was wonderful for taking our dog to play in the surf. We drove the Cabot Trail, hiked Skyline Trail, took a tour and dined at the distillery and enjoyed nearby restaurants (The Red Shoe Pub and The Dancing Goat Café & Bakery to mention a couple.) Vicki was so easy to work with and it was great to have George to show us all we needed to know about the property and we knew he was nearby in case we needed him. We appreciated the new Weber gas grill and used it when we didn't go out to eat, and we loved the house's artsy charm and reclaimed furnishings. We're so glad we got to stay here for our visit to Cape Breton. Thanks to you Vicki and your family for sharing this special place with us."

"We rented this unit for the month of August as we were in the area for our son's wedding and needed a base from which to operate. The property was excellent for us as we had many family members like our selves traveling from afar and this gave them a place to stop off while visiting the area. The house is ideally located being only 20 min from downtown Halifax or Dartmouth. It is situated so one can explore both the Fundy shore or the area from Halifax to Lunenburg and on to Yarmouth. That is if you can drag your self away from those Muskoka chairs overlooking the pond. Paul was a most gracious host and was always there if we had a problem which were few. Our one son came with an 18 month old and she enjoyed feeding the ducks in the pond so this is an excellent place for people with children. We would definately stay here again but it books up fast though because it is a popular place."

"Talk about a great location and a fabulous house !!!! We two couples throoughly enjoyed this tastefully decorated and beautifully antique-laiden home. Entertaining was a delight when we invited friends to join us there. Not only did we have a good time walking the Captains' House Tour, but also checking out the local lighthouse and its grounds. An AMAZING surprise discovery was our exploration of the Yarmouth Museum - what a treat !"
