"It was a fantastic stay. The house was beautiful. It was clean and very spacious. Perfect for all ages. The ages of our family of 7 was from a one year old to my father who is 82. We truly enjoyed our stay. The beautiful scenery and the awesome sunsets made our stay very memorable for all. We all had an amazing time. Would truly recommend to all family and friends. Marion was a pleasure to do business with. Thank you."

"This is the 4th vacation home I've rented and is the BEST by far. This cottage is well-kept along with all the amenities, including rain coats, laundry soap, paper products, etc. The view is spectacular and the hike to the shore is beautiful (wish I was there when the roses were blooming). The home is very comfortable and at one point, we had 6 adults and 4 small dogs living harmoniously together. It is obvious that the owners are dog lovers, which are the best people in the world. Also, the caretakers are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much."

"Far Far Away Guesthouse is comfortable, cozy and uniquely styled- we enjoyed the decor and artwork. Jay was sweet to leave us a card and bottle of wine as I mentioned it was our anniversary. He was easy to communicate with, very laid back, and overall the perfect host.
The cottage is well stocked with extras and some basic food supplies- coffee, sugar, etc, so there is very little one would need to run to the store to get. Close to Mahone Bay (Mug & Anchor restaurant, Jennifer's Bakery are MUSTS) and Chester Basin, (The Galley was wonderful/romantic). The Chester Connector trail goes over the Gold River and along the old train route- we found the area breathtaking. The beauty of this spot is it's out-of-the-way location, while being close to everything one comes to Nova Scotia to see.
Caveats: The bathroom is quite cramped, but we managed. The water pump was so loud I didn't wish to flush the toilet or take an early morning shower because I didn't wish to awaken my partner. But I wouldn't hestitate to come back to visit again- I'd just bring earplugs for my honey.
It fit with our style of traveling- a base camp for our explorations. It's less than an hour from Ross Farm Museum up Route 12, Martock (OnTree Park) up route 14 and Halifax, up highway 103."

"Beautiful...nope. Idyllic...nope. Awesome...nope. Memorable...nope. Utopian...nope. I guess there is no single word that would describe this little piece of heaven on earth. After just two days there we thirsted for more than our allotted week, at which point the fates intervened and we were able to extend our stay. Many thanks to you, Morry, your cottage is ... all of the above and we will someday return!"
