  • Seaside Cottage

"If you're looking for the perfect beach cottage..this is it. The beach is right across from the cottage and the water is warm and shallow..perfect for small kids. Lovely front porch to sit and listen to the surf and have a few drinks. It's close to the Cabot trail and to Mabou where the Rankin family has a lovely restaurant with live music. The owners wife left beach glass books on the table and now I'm hooked. Check out THE BUS..the hamburgers are fabulous. Kick back and unwind or shop in all the small seaside towns. The cottage has everything you need and the owner is so helpful and friendly. I wish this cottage was mine !!!"

  • Outstanding home on a great beach in one of the best destinations in the Americas

"We loved this house on Cape Breton Island. It is totally modern, open, upscale - what else can I say. Jody, the owner was great to deal with. My wife and I stayed there with two of my adult children and their spouses. The master suite is over the top. The patio(s) overlook the private beach. Cape Breton is wonderful for bike riding, hiking, golf (Cabot Links is one the top courses in the world). Nova Scotia is fantastic. My advice if you're planning to visit the Maritimes is to skip PEI and spend all of your time in Nova Scotia - and try to rent this house!"

  • Really great spot.

"Beautiful drive on the way there, it's a remote area with a store just before the last road in (Co-Op). Great place to relax with an excellent view. The bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable as well. Kitchen well equipped for all your cooking needs."
