"The lodging was very nice, modern, comfortable setting. The King and Queen bed were very comfortable. The double trundle bed was acceptable. The pullout upstairs was very uncomfortable for the couple that slept on it. Should be upgraded so that all enjoy a good nights sleep or change the advertisement to sleeps 3 couples comfortably. It is very close to Baddeck, just 1 minute away from the town, which made it convenient for picking up groceries and getting ice cream at the Blue Heron. The golf package was as advertised and enjoyable."

"I love Neil's Harbour and most certainly will return to stay at this cottage. Jackie and Greg are the most hospitable hosts, with great recommendations on sightseeing, dining, music and more. The cottage is spotless and super comfortable, and a short walk to the harbour and the sweet little ice cream shop that is set up in the old lighthouse. Most important, the house has a nice view of the water, even in the dense Cape Breton fog."

"The WIllow is a WOW!!!! It's been our home away from home for so many months and we absolutely loved it!!! Would definitely recommend this house for anyone visiting Cape Breton. It was a pleasure living here and meeting the most awesome people we have ever met in all our travels over Canada. Moira, part owner of the Willow, what can I say about this awesome lady??? She went up and beyond for us as our landlord!!!! She took it upon herself to find places for us and our workers to stay when we had to move out because off bookings made from months before we even arrived here. We wished we could still be living at the Willow but we are very happy also with the place she found for us especially in this very busy peak season. What a beautiful home, beautiful lady and beautiful Cape Breton!!

"This was our second year staying at the cottage, and we are already talking about when we want to book for next year. It's fully equipped with everything you'll need, just pack your clothes and some groceries and your set! Our group had 4 adults and 2 kids, and there was plenty of room. There was even a high chair for the little guy! The life guarded beach is a 2 minute walk over the sand dunes. The water is warm(ish) and shallow, perfect for kids. We didn't do a lot of exploring in the area because we like to spend our time on the beach, but we ate at the Clove & Hitch (good), The Bus (decent), and Bikinis and Trunks Ice Cream (good). Cellphone reception is poor in the area (we had Rogers & Bell phones), but there is wifi in the house and a landline."
