  • A spectacular view and more!

"The Mighty Blue has everything you need to make your stay comfortable plus, it was spotless. The trees surrounding it make it private and cozy. There is a grocery store within walking distance for supplies. We were fortunate to have stayed there 11 days in July. The view of the sparkling blue seas and listening to the ocean crash on the rocks is priceless. Satellite TV, wifi, dvd, fireplace, barbecue grill and more. Kathy was a valuable source for activities, restaurants, and points of interest. I can't recommend it enough. It will make your vacation unforgettable too."

  • Eva for the Scottish thistle

"our stay was great visiting the Celtic Colours Festival. My concerns about the accommodations is the pull out couches they are in fact loveseats that are not comfortable as a seat let alone a bed. I feel the upstair-- room would be better off with a trundle/day bed instead of a pull out and would provide a pleasant sleep for two people rather than a lumpy sleep for one. The staff was good about bringing two more skinny mattresses that we had to put on the floor. The house sleeps six comfortably not 8 nor 10."

  • Fantastic Rental Property - JUST LIKE HOME!!

"I am thrilled to write a review for this amazing vacation property. I stayed with my large family of six (including four small children) and we had everything we needed and more. The home is beautiful, spacious and bright. Steps from the beach and included everything you could possibly need. From beach bags, toys, coolers, cloth shopping bags, you are left to relax and enjoy. I would recommend this home to anyone and everyone. The area is so beautiful and inviting and we cannot wait to return. The owner is so friendly and takes so much pride in his home. A dream holiday!!"

  • A Remote Getaway

"Although the weather did not cooperate (we were in rain and white blanket of fog for the majority of our visit) my partner and I enjoyed our two night stay at "the End of the Earth". The accommodation was bright, clean, and cozy. If the fog had lifted we are sure the views would have been spectacular. For those travelling here for the first time - do pay attention to the name of this place as it is quite accurate. It is a great vacation rental for outdoor enthusiasts - especially hikers. And it is a terrific place for anyone who wants to get away from it all. However it is not the place for everyone. My 75 year old father found the accommodation to be too remote. And the trails near the place were too wild, wet and slippery for his hiking ability. And although we gave him the master bedroom with the large bed (my partner and I slept together on the bottom bunk of the twin beds in the spare room), he remained uncomfortable with the remoteness. A recommendation for the owners - consider replacing the twin beds with a double bed (the roll away can help for families). And do consider adding some utensils for eating lobster!"
