"My friends and I arrived from the States and loved the view and relaxing atmosphere. We are "seniors" enjoying a girlfriends vacation leaving husbands at home. We did not use the loft and there was ample room for the three of us. Sunrise is amazing over the water. The living, dining and kitchen area are open which makes it a wonderful space for friends or family to gather. All the basics are there that you will need from dishes to bathroom supplies. The location on the water is blissful and the area is perfect for walking, enjoying water activities or the large yard. We visited (and loved ) the Hooked Rug Museum of North America and marketplace a mile away, as well as, the Hubbard's Farmer's Market, Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay and looking for sea glass. The owner is a pleasure to work with and available if needed. I plan to return to this cabin again on my next visit."

"We had a lovely stay at Harbour's Reach, using it as a home base while visiting our children at Dalhousie, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. The house is extremely comfortable, very clean and thoughtfully appointed. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals, and Cheryl and Tony even brought the BBQ out of its winter storage for me. The view from all of the windows is wonderful, and I thoroughly enjoyed my morning coffee on the front deck watching the sunrise over the harbour. Another highlight was a walk to Chebucto Head lighthouse and then a hike back along the ocean from Duncan's Cove to Ketch Harbour. All of this while still being close to Halifax. I felt like I'd had a real holiday, was sad to leave, and I will absolutely stay here again. Many thanks to Cheryl and Tony for being gracious and attentive hosts."

"My wife and I just returned from a week on Cape Breton. We can't say enough about the beautiful area. Jackie and Greg's home is extremely nice and very clean. They go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. Greg took us out on his boat one afternoon and also brought over some freshly caught halibut. He has a wealth of information on the Nova Scotia fishing industry and we had some very informative chats. If you're considering a trip to this area you couldn't find better people or a nicer place to stay."

"We had a wonderful time at the Cottage. It was a perfect jumping off point for exploring the South Shore. Having the ferry and the bakery so close was really nice too. The cottage was as expected--clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family of 3. No complaints at all. Thanks for a wonderful stay. To future guests--hit Rhubarb restaurant near Peggy's cove--very yummy and the best chowder around. Risser's beach and crescent beach were both really nice. We found a very off the beaten path hike not too far from Peggy's Cove--can't remember the name though. But, it was a great hike along the coast and we avoided the masses at Peggy's Cove."
