"The cottage is a superb place to stay, well equipped, relaxing and the location is very central so it is the ultimate tourist spot but it makes you feel right at home. We will be back next year for sure."

"We had a lovely week at this cottage. It is in a truly beautiful, quiet, secluded location, with gorgeous views and walks all around. It is only 20 minutes from the main motorway system on NS so is also a good base for exploring the area. The owner John is very helpful and accommodating and sorts out any problems instantly. The property and grounds are unique and will offer you an unforgettable experience. Furnishings and equipment are comfortable and homely, and the design of the cottage is quite stunning, with huge windows on two levels looking out over the cove. Pretty much everything you need will be there for you. I would recommend renting a bike and canoe to get the most out of your stay. Highly recommended."

"We rented this unit for the month of August as we were in the area for our son's wedding and needed a base from which to operate. The property was excellent for us as we had many family members like our selves traveling from afar and this gave them a place to stop off while visiting the area. The house is ideally located being only 20 min from downtown Halifax or Dartmouth. It is situated so one can explore both the Fundy shore or the area from Halifax to Lunenburg and on to Yarmouth. That is if you can drag your self away from those Muskoka chairs overlooking the pond. Paul was a most gracious host and was always there if we had a problem which were few. Our one son came with an 18 month old and she enjoyed feeding the ducks in the pond so this is an excellent place for people with children. We would definately stay here again but it books up fast though because it is a popular place."
