"My husband, son, dau-in-law, and I had the grand luck to be able to spend three glorious weeks in Bill's gorgeous home! I can no fault with anything. Bill is a most gracious host, and handsome to boot! The house was equipped with everything one would need and all top shelf. The re-cycling system was a bit of a challenge but we muddled through as best we could. If you are looking for a place to relax and reflect on the world, read that book you have been meaning to read or take day trips to see more of Nova Scotia, this is the perfect place. Watching seals, eagles, and deer are just a bonus. THANK YOU SO MUCH Bill for sharing your world with us! M. Gore , Memphis, TN"

"Just a tremendous experience. Ended up booking on a day's notice and coming in after midnight, and the owner's could not have been more accommodating. Even a bottle of wine on the counter when I arrived. House is as advertised - remarkable views, beautiful setting. About 20 minutes outside of downtown, so I'd have a car, though it's only about $25 to take a cab out. Sauna and hot tub are great. A little piece of heaven out on the coast.
And honestly, Sigmund the Seagull made my day every day."

"Talk about a great location and a fabulous house !!!! We two couples throoughly enjoyed this tastefully decorated and beautifully antique-laiden home. Entertaining was a delight when we invited friends to join us there. Not only did we have a good time walking the Captains' House Tour, but also checking out the local lighthouse and its grounds. An AMAZING surprise discovery was our exploration of the Yarmouth Museum - what a treat !"

"Perfect in every way: proximity to National Park attractions, unobstructed views of Cape Smokey & the magnificent Atlantic Ocean. Total seclusion, yet right on the Cabot Trail with amenities handy. Singing Pebbles made me feel I was living a dream; cooking was a pleasure in the fantastically equipped & high end chef's kitchen with the million dollar view. It was an ideal setting to explore the Highlands Park western end. The only downside was that we had to vacate after our week flew by. I would definitely say that staying in such an exquisite house enhanced the natural wonders of this unique part of Cape Breton. Thank you Jitka for the care & imagination you & Gilbert invested in this special dwelling."
