"I rented this property for 3 days as a change from my normal hotel stay while traveling. What a delight!! Upon my arrival, I was greeted with a semi - personalized document (they greeted my dog and left her a treat) outlining everything I possibly needed to know about the house and property.
The house is huge, beautiful and well decorated. The house is decorated with such precise beautiful detail. Honestly- like a storybook. What an interesting house! What an interesting property! The property is set on a quiet river with many quaint and beatific properties. There is a row boat and canoe available for guests to use.
Mahone bay is probably 5 minutes away by car. Bridge water is about 20-25 minutes away.
I would recommend this house for anybody who wants a quiet, relaxed getaway. The only regret I had was not being able to stay longer."

"My family and I had a wonderful week at the cottage. It was hard to pack the car and leave. The cottage was perfect for the six of us. We never felt crowded. Loved the hardwood floors and the bright kitchen. Was nice to have a washer and dryer. The cottage was well stocked. The neighbors were friendly.
My grandsons loved swimming in the bay. We took trips to Halifax, Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove. We visited the bakery and enjoyed a sugar pie and blueberry pie.
The sunsets and night sky were beautiful. A beautiful and peaceful place to be.
It was a long trip from Maryland but well worth it."

"This was our second year staying at the cottage, and we are already talking about when we want to book for next year. It's fully equipped with everything you'll need, just pack your clothes and some groceries and your set! Our group had 4 adults and 2 kids, and there was plenty of room. There was even a high chair for the little guy! The life guarded beach is a 2 minute walk over the sand dunes. The water is warm(ish) and shallow, perfect for kids. We didn't do a lot of exploring in the area because we like to spend our time on the beach, but we ate at the Clove & Hitch (good), The Bus (decent), and Bikinis and Trunks Ice Cream (good). Cellphone reception is poor in the area (we had Rogers & Bell phones), but there is wifi in the house and a landline."

"Our party of 6 enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunrise at Sol Point. The views so amazing. The home sits on the edge of the water and provides a 270 degree panorama of the water and rocky coast. The home is comfortable and the open living area provides the great seating for converation and relaxation Our group enjoyed the easy drives to Halifax, Mahone Bay, and Lunenburg. These were great day trips which included tours and a sunset cruise in Lunenburg. Peggy's Cove is less than ten minutes from the home. Pictures simply are not adequate . The home and surroundings are 5 star.
The caretakers Lawrence and Frieda live nearby and were most hospitable and attentive."
