"If you're looking for a place to unplug and unwind, the location of this quaint little cottage is perfect! We arrived exhausted, wrung out from the ever-increasing pace of life. The cottage itself is what you would expect from a building of it's age. It is immaculately clean and had all the basics for cooking etc. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, Peggy. The weather was rather cool and dull for July, but Peggy's warm hospitality shone brightly. From helping us source fresh lobster and teaching us how to cook it, to offering historical information about the area and tips of great places to dine, Peggy won't disappoint you. She even loaned me one of her own pots for me to make home made soup in! Don't miss driving down the road and picking up fresh scallops to bring home and cook for dinner. When the sun did come out we took in the Digby Neck and Annapolis Royal, as well as several of the picturesque villages close by."

"Pretty much as the other reviews describe. Excellent location. Well-equipped. Very clean. My one difficulty was that Tiffany and Kurtis were sometimes difficult to reach, especially after I paid my deposit. I was reassured by the reviews on the page and by VRBO whom I contacted for help, and sure enough they did eventually reply, with apologies. In the end we were quite satisfied with the stay but they live in Vietnam and I found it took persistence and patience communicating with them. (one tiny thing...only 2 wine glasses for 4 people). The building superintendent is a real gem."

"Our family had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful, spacious home. There was 11 of us, and we had plenty of room. It was much bigger than it looked in pictures, and so well-equipped - everything we needed was there! We loved relaxing on the deck or in the hot tub, and enjoyed the shuffleboard table in the bar area. The harbor just down the street was a really neat spot to explore at low and high tide - it was like two different worlds! It's a bit of a drive to get anywhere, but definitely accessible enough for some day trips in Nova Scotia. Marion was lovely and very helpful."

"Excellent customer service from Kathy - thanks! Cottage was very comfortable for family of four and another couple. Sleeping arrangements worked well - for privacy we left couple to living room sofa bed and adjacent bath and family member on downstairs daybed used upstairs facility with rest of family.
Kitchen well-equipped for big meals. Lovely view and 'downhome' feel to the place. Great clothesline.
For a much more scenic start to the Cabot Trail turn right out of the driveway rather than going back to the highway."
