"One of the best weekends in a while. Spent a weekend by the beach with a group of women. Perfect location and the cottage had everything we needed. We enjoyed ourselves so much we are thinking of going back next year! Thank you Joe and Lisa!"

"Perfect in every way: proximity to National Park attractions, unobstructed views of Cape Smokey & the magnificent Atlantic Ocean. Total seclusion, yet right on the Cabot Trail with amenities handy. Singing Pebbles made me feel I was living a dream; cooking was a pleasure in the fantastically equipped & high end chef's kitchen with the million dollar view. It was an ideal setting to explore the Highlands Park western end. The only downside was that we had to vacate after our week flew by. I would definitely say that staying in such an exquisite house enhanced the natural wonders of this unique part of Cape Breton. Thank you Jitka for the care & imagination you & Gilbert invested in this special dwelling."

"ditto on all other good reviews and then some.
the weather was perfect. the property charming. the wonderful breezes coming off ocean soothed the soul. the birds overhead, the deer in the yard, the chipmunk on the deck and the precious baby frog trying to get up the front stairs were delightful.
the layout of the house was so accommodating. 3 BR and 3 bath - perfect for 3 individuals. the bonus of doing laundry and hanging out on line.
never mind the relaxing walks to nearby beaches!
wonderful memory. and if you can. do not miss a cruise on the bluenose II in nearby Lunenburg. OUTSTANDING."

"Just home from a lovely week spent at Xanadu. Fantastic views and unbelievable sunsets, and a wonderful base from which to explore nearby Cape George, Arisaig and Antigonish. Terrific fishing, and the kids enjoyed exploring the rocks, and watching for seals and bald eagles from the porch. The cottage itself is gorgeous, with huge windows facing the water and the lovely sea air flowing in from every direction."
