"This is a wonderful place, nature, space, peace, tranquility. House is open and spacious with lots of light, a big deck with a view that takes your breath away. If you get a chance, go to stay at this place, don't miss it...
We also got to meet Darrel's father, a retired fisherman and gentleman, living a simple life in this remote part of Canada, way beyond phones and internet. His view of life is one to strive for...
If you go whale watching, go with Oshen's and captain Cyril Fraser, he was wonderful, a humble fisherman... we where out with them three times.

"This was a beautiful home that has been lovely cared for throughout the years. It was "museum quality" however at the same time very warm and welcoming. All the modern conveniences were up to date and very clean/proper. The location allowed us to explore, but also to kick back and relax when we wanted. The yard was large enough to allow us to play touch football. The people of Yarmouth could not have been friendlier. Loved the relaxed atmosphere. Yarmouth is well situated to take many different small excursions, such as whale watching, trails to rails walks, visiting/walking through the wind farm, visiting museums (we visited 3) right in Yarmouth, going to the beach in Maitland, as well as Port Fourchu, self guided tour of sea captains' homes, and of course shopping. We all loved Nova Scotia!!!"

"Our family had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful, spacious home. There was 11 of us, and we had plenty of room. It was much bigger than it looked in pictures, and so well-equipped - everything we needed was there! We loved relaxing on the deck or in the hot tub, and enjoyed the shuffleboard table in the bar area. The harbor just down the street was a really neat spot to explore at low and high tide - it was like two different worlds! It's a bit of a drive to get anywhere, but definitely accessible enough for some day trips in Nova Scotia. Marion was lovely and very helpful."

"We stayed at Sunset Piper in July 2015. We were in Little Harbor for my son's wedding. The home is stunning from the drive up, to magnificent lawns, to the water views. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Melmerby beach is close by. I highly recommend this vacation rental. My many thanks to Stephanie."
