  • Happy Stay

"Excellent customer service from Kathy - thanks! Cottage was very comfortable for family of four and another couple. Sleeping arrangements worked well - for privacy we left couple to living room sofa bed and adjacent bath and family member on downstairs daybed used upstairs facility with rest of family. Kitchen well-equipped for big meals. Lovely view and 'downhome' feel to the place. Great clothesline. For a much more scenic start to the Cabot Trail turn right out of the driveway rather than going back to the highway."

  • Great base for visiting Halifax and Nova Scotia

"We stayed for 10 days in order to both move our daughter into university and visit Nova Scotia for the first time. The condo looks exactly like the photos. After an initial rocky start because there was a problem with a breaker and some lights and the wireless were not working for 2 days (teenagers were in initial hysterics), we really enjoyed our stay. The owner was super responsive when contacted and so was the super of the building (helped with the electricity problem). The condo was a great space for our family of 4. The neighborhood is very cute and there are banks, pharmacies and restaurants within a block. The building is quiet (some traffic noise during rush hours). The Halifax ferry is right across the street. There is a great view from the balcony of the Harbour, particularly at night the lights and bridge are beautiful. Having a indoor parking space was wonderful because our car was always full of items purchased for moving into university residence. Dalhousie was only 15 minutes by car. The best shopping is in Dartmouth (MicMac mall and Dartmouth Crossing). The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. The washer and dryer work well and there is a dishwasher. The only negatives were that the building is a bit dated, the bed in the second bedroom is very hard, the exercise room is small and humid and the building tenants are of an older age category and thus my teenagers felt a bit of of place. Overall a good space and location for visiting all that Nova Scotia has to offer."

  • 30th Anniversary Celebration!

"We just got back from spending four nights at the Studio apartment at Singing Pebbles. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary! Coming home to our "cottage" each evening after exploring the Island was delightful. Jitka's suggestions were very helpful. God's creative handiwork and majesty is wonderfully displayed in this part of the world! We would highly recommend Singing Pebbles as a place to stay in the area; being close to many attractions and still a private place with personal attention. And Jitka's pottery is amazing."

  • Hunt Vacation

"Our family vacation was incredible! We enjoyed the private beach with the beautiful sand and warm water. Our kids ages 11 and 14 had fun beachcombing/swimming during the day and having bonfires on the beach in the evening! There was even a raft that all the kids on the beach used and our kids were able to find kids their own age to hang out with. We can't wait for next summer! Thanks!"
