"Just a tremendous experience. Ended up booking on a day's notice and coming in after midnight, and the owner's could not have been more accommodating. Even a bottle of wine on the counter when I arrived. House is as advertised - remarkable views, beautiful setting. About 20 minutes outside of downtown, so I'd have a car, though it's only about $25 to take a cab out. Sauna and hot tub are great. A little piece of heaven out on the coast.
And honestly, Sigmund the Seagull made my day every day."

"We spent a week in this spacious home while we were visiting Halifax and attending our sons wedding. It comfortably housed all ten of us and was centrally located to many attractions and the wedding events. We were able to host the reception party and have a home away from our home for this special event. It was great to have all the comforts of home: washer and dryer, kitchen space, outdoor yard space. The only frustration we had during our stay was totally out of the owners control - construction around the area made it difficult to access the house but by now this will be complete. This is a large space that can accommodate a large group comfortable. I would definitely rent this house again if I was coming to the area."

"My husband and I selected this home for its Inverness location and because it was dog-friendly. We were not disappointed. The house is wonderful, photos don't do it justice. The first thing I noticed was the wonderful windows and the bright and open floor plan. The house was clean and in good condition and fully equipped. There are so many wonderful places to sit, relax and enjoy the sunset and see the view of the water. The nearby Inverness Beach was wonderful for taking our dog to play in the surf. We drove the Cabot Trail, hiked Skyline Trail, took a tour and dined at the distillery and enjoyed nearby restaurants (The Red Shoe Pub and The Dancing Goat Café & Bakery to mention a couple.) Vicki was so easy to work with and it was great to have George to show us all we needed to know about the property and we knew he was nearby in case we needed him. We appreciated the new Weber gas grill and used it when we didn't go out to eat, and we loved the house's artsy charm and reclaimed furnishings. We're so glad we got to stay here for our visit to Cape Breton. Thanks to you Vicki and your family for sharing this special place with us."
